Hello, fellow Jewish patrons of Gaia!
I've been a member of this guild for a while, but haven't posted anything about myself! My name is Lexi, and I am a reform Jew. I grew up in a predominantly Christian area, and did catch some heck here and there when I was in school for being Jewish. (Though some people thought it was cool mrgreen )
The hardest thing I ever dealt with growing up was the fact that I never knew any of the Christmas carols, or church hymns, any of that stuff. The only religious songs I knew were in Hebrew. I actually had an ex boyfriend who asked me not to sing or speak in Hebrew, since it was "evil". (You can only guess why he is my ex now, right? rofl )

Hi; welcome to the guild! We have a few members in your same position (myself included), so if you ever need any tips on living in a non-Jewish area, we'd all be happy to help! There is actually a thread for this in the "Intros only" page, but no worries!
