I’m not sure if this thread goes here but I new to this guild so sorry if I messed up. I did some research after my friend told me that Sora and Haseo are the same person in real life. I believe their name was Ryou Misaki. From the information I collected it said that after Sora was data drained by Skeith and fell into a coma until the end of .hack// Sign. They say that when he started the World R: 2 he completely forgot about what had happened in the original world. He also was chosen for Skeith’s ability and became an Epitaph user. Does anyone else think this is true?

Yeah, in fact, that's why Skeith is Haseo's epitaph. They saw how Sora had somehow connected with Skeith, and tried to do the same thing with the remanants of the Eight Phase's data. Because Sora is Haseo, he obviously got Skeith.

If you watch the beginning of .hack//Roots, in one frame Haseo has Sora's shadow. I'll try to find a screenshot.

And all this time I was densely attributing the shadow to the twin blade option of the character class. Awe man, so much more makes sense now.

I do think it is funny, because when Ryou Misaki was Sora, he was a hated PK. When he became Haseo later in life, he hated PKers with a passion.
Quite a character contrast.
