In retrospect I don't think anyone could ever say enough about how awesome this movie was! So my previous statement... Was inaccurate.

I dont really like Robert Downey Jr.
I guess he's just got a bad rep from all the drug allegations and whatnot that goes with it bit i've never liked his acting.
And in Iron man he isn't acting, that's how he really is. neutral

I'm sorry. I'm a huge comic book fan and the man nails his character perfectly. Some of his mannerisms fit Tony Stark, but that's not a bad thing. They really got the best man for the job. And while Robert Downey Jr. may not be a spectacular actor, he is Tony Stark.

I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend says the last few years Tony Stark has been based on Robert Downey Jr.
And I disagree, I think in the last few years Robert has proven himself as a very good actor. Watch Fur and Kiss kiss bang bang and then get back to me. ^_^

Never seen Fur, but I LOVED Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and he does spectacularly well in that! One of my favorite unsung movies!
And there are very few actors that make my "Spectacular Actor" list, so saying Robert Downey Jr. doesn't make that list isn't necessarily a bad thing. He's just not as up there as Johnny Depp or Ian Mckellen is.
RDJr acting ability aside though, he is one of my favorites to see on the screen!

Not quite as fun when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the movie, though. ._.
