So since I'm the only one on in our guild at the moment, how about another topic?! Well you guessed it...were talking about spices! Now spices add flavor to everything, old steak, plain apples, even tasteless oatmeal.(Tried that, lol) When I start cooking I go crazy, adding everything I can find, so now it's your turn to tell me your favorite spice. If other, post it for sure.

Exotic_Memories standard baked chicken spices i use are : salt, pepper, seasoned salt, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, dash of cinnamon, dash of curry, all mixed into olive oil drizzled over the chicken Oh! That sounds good Exotic. I think I'll snitch that and use it on my chicken tomorrow.. smile But, why cinnamon? I understand the other spices, but not that. Hikaru Usada I loooove oregano, it makes meatball subs taste heavenly, and it always goes into lasagna. *drools* Oh! I agree! Though my dad one time used to much oregano and Italian seasoning that our meatloaf tasted like a giant meatball. I wasn't complaining in the least though!

I love oregano. Thyme is pretty good too. I used to eat pepper on everything. Especially Mac n cheese. I'd make sure to put enough pepper in there that't'd be really obvious. Then no one else would eat any. I wish we had more spices around the house to expiriment with, our spice rack had more dust then spice at this point.

Oh yeah, and add some raisins to the stuff from a canister, while your waiting for the water to boil...Mmm....Very tasty...Then add a little vanilla flavoring and you've got some awesome oatmeal...
