Serenity bounded away from the water, shaking her fur once, twice, three times. With a little twitch to get the water out of ears, she trotted off along the river, pausing to take a drink from the running water. She stuckher tongue out and laps at the water, finally flopping down with her paws hanging over the edge of the grass into the water. It was exhausting running up and down the water's edge like that! Serenity wished terribly for someone to play with, though...even as an adult, she was still a happy-go-lucky pup at heart.
Or someone to talk to at least. How long had it been that she only had her mom and Lori for company? Mulling over that, she rolled over and squirmed away from the river just a little, scratching her back on the grass at the same time. With her paws up against her chest, revealing her tummy to the springtime sun, Serenity was content for the moment.

The dark coated male watched from a distance not sure how to make his move. Ichigo wasn't really the boldest talaye when it came to conversation- nor was he exceptionally quiet. It's just he usally prefered to keep to himself rather then just put himself out there and cause trouble; something that normally seamed to surround the teenaged male.
Again he snuck a few feet further as if he ment to go play with Serenity, but again his quite nature seamed to pull him back. Expecially around the females. Not that he wanted anything to do with her 'that' way. But he was still suffering with his teenaged angst that couldn't place him at adult or puppy. So again his mind questioned barreling forward into the water, lolling his tounge out and forgetting it all- to being the grump he was standing there doing nothing.
Tis ashame he couldn't make up his mind- she looked like she was having an awfully good time...

Serenity paused in her scratching, and then wiggled harder. There was one spot just between her shoulder blades that the grass just wasn't any good at getting at.
"Agh!" She yelped finally, standing up and shaking her fur back into place. Serenity would just have to do her best to ignore the growing tickle. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a grasshopper minding his own business in the grass a few feet from her. Pressing her body low to the ground, Serenity growled, trying to make herself sound big and scary.
The grasshopper took no notice. Well, intimidation wasn't one of Serenity's strongest points. She glared the grasshopper down until he hopped away, her fur twitching with the itch between her shoulder blades,

Again all that seamed to move on his body was his eyes, taking in every detail and thing that was going on. Silly girl. He seamed to muse within his head as he watched her more. Still looks like fun. But again he couldn't get his body to move towards the female. So he stood there like a stone...that was until the grasshopper seamed to land on his nose after it's great escape. Funny he didn't realise it until his lungs had released a great sneeze blowing the poor creature to where Serenity was playing with it in the first place.
Oh now I've done it... His more laid back side cursed at him. He couldn't excatly play his sneeze off as the wind either seeing it was so loud. Best he could do now was move out of the shadows and introduce himself. "I'm Ichigo..." The words slid out of his mouth like a whisper, walking forward.

Serenity whirled at the sound, backing up slowly. Years of having only her mother and Lori for company had made her wary of anyone else. But it sounded like...a sneeze? Suddenly the grasshopper she had been hunting was between her paws, and she blinked, staring at it. How had that flown back here so quickly? Was it connected to that sound? The sound of an unfamiliar voice brought her out of her shock, and it took her a moment to register this Talaye speaking to her. Her mind took about 5 seconds to translate what the other Talaye had said, and Serenity realized she was staring. He'd said his name. Ichigo. Another Talaye! And...a boy to boot. "I'm Serenity," the gold and brown Talaye replied dazedly, staring at the other Talaye. She realized she was being terribly rude, but it was such a shock to see another Talaye besides Miko! "Uhhh...nice to meet you?" Introductions had been so easy when she was a cub and there were tons of other Talaye around. ((Do you happen to have a pic of Ichigo Soarin? I can't find him on the owner's list, just to help me rp. This is Serenity if you were wondering what she looks like. Thanks!))

((Ichigo: Ichigo )) He froze silent and stunned infront of her. "Uh, yea nice to meet you." He yammered out of his mouth on pure impulse...talk about being rude himself. With a slight sniffle the only movement the black cloaked talaye made was to wipe the small sniffles from his nose then quickly cast the paw back down to the ground. He really didn't know how to talk to women- let alone anything female.
With another stammer he looked to her and nodded. "Serenity. Nice uh name...." Again his voice quivered ever so slightly. Well now this was just aquward. His eyes then diverted from her to the grasshopper. "Glad he's ummm okie..." He let out a nervous chuckle and went dead silent again. He should have just bolted when he had the chance.

Serenity giggled, not at Ichigo, but more with him. Even if his laughter was really nervous. Her real personality was starting to shine through, which was bubbly, hyper, and energetic. She'd been as happy and excitable as a pup since she jumped out of her basket, and had only toned down slightly with age. Now to get Ichigo out of his shell..
"So, Ichigo, have you ever hunted grasshoppers before?" Serenity bounced low to the ground, eying the lone grasshopper who had somehow managed to survive their torment. "They're quite the fighter, I tell you," she said in a low voice, as if to not scare the grasshopper. Serenity turned her pale green eyes up to Ichigo without moving her head, those eyes sparkling with laughter.
