In an effort to liven up the place more than it is now, here's a dragon chat!
Feel free to talk about dragons here, what you like, what you don't like. All I ask is that you respect every one's opinions, and don't put others down. Also, no egg spam here, in the form of "PLZ CLICK MAH EGGIEZ [links and images here]" IF EGGSPAM IS FOUND IN THIS TOPIC WITHOUT ANY CONTRIBUTION TO THE DISCUSSION, I WILL NOT CLICK ON THEM!
All dragons and eggs are welcome here, but please have at least one thing to contribute to the discussion! Thanks!
And to start off, what are your favorite types of dragons?

lol I forgot to mention that you don't have to talk about the DragCave dragon species >3<
But as for DragonCave, I think my favorite might be the black, because black is one of my favorite colors biggrin
Originally, I didn't like the Dark Green, but when TJ changed the sprite, I liked it

::chuckles:: Well, I've always loved Silvers, even long before I found the Cave. Doesn't help that I role-play a character on AOL that spent 90% of her life thinking she was a Silver Dragon when in reality she's a 10-colored dragon(DragonLance based charrie originally, so she's..... odd).

XD I love odd characters - they always serve to make the RP more interesting. Now that I think about it, I have a lot of dragon characters. o.=.o

DragCave-wise...I really want to see Silvanon's Horse Dragon...it rocks my socks.
I like the "Crystal Dragons" from Irene Radford's novels. Often when I think of dragons it's the Western appearance.

Irene Radford? I'm not certain I'm familiar with that author... so she's pretty good then? Something to check out? I'm well versed with D&D and DragonLance... I grew up on those... Hey Kit! If you like Silver's so much you might try "Elizabeth Kerner" with her book "Song in the Silence" that ones pretty well done! 3nodding "Mercedes Lackey & James Mallory" with "The Outstretched Shadow" have some nifty dragon concepts as well.. (though their's is a black.)

I'll give that book a looking into, Ermy.
::chuckles:: I've read a lot of Misty Lackey's books... In fact, I own the entire Heralds of Valdemar series (nearly 30 books). She's a great writer. I'll look into The Outstretched Shadow as well. ::snickers:: I loved Bedlam's Bard. Elves in modern day LA. Have to love it.
I'm waiting for the next book in the Into the Land of the Unicorns series from Bruce Coville. Took him almost 10 or so years to get the second book out. Now it's been about 5 since that one came out. The third is due out August 1, and since he's got most of the 4th book done as well, I'm hoping that'll be out in the next couple years. Really good series, despite being for a younger audience. Have to find my copies of 1 and 2...

If any of you are into Horror, and I mean hardcore horror, you should check out H.P. Lovecraft. :3 I've heard really good things about his books. Cthulhu is love. <3 I'm still waiting on books myself.. but I know two people now that are completely obsessed with his books. >.> So he's obviously good.
