Freluna shifted the pack on her shoulder and winced. It felt like the leather strap had dug a groove all the way to the bone. For what felt like the thousandth time, Freluna wondered why she had packed so many things, or if she actually needed everything she had taken with her.
Well, she knew that she needed the food and the water-skins. The paper and charcoal sticks were to write home, so that her father would know that she was still alive and well. Obviously the rupees were needed; she liked to stay at inns as much as possible, since she hadn't been raised to camp outdoors. Besides, she might need to buy more supplies. The whet-stone was to keep her knife honed, since you never know when she might need that.
Although... Perhaps she hadn't needed to pack the dress. Or the nice shoes. Or the tiara. Maybe not even the hairbrush, although knots in your hair was quite uncomfortable. Still, the formal clothes might be nessessary. Who knew what situations Freluna would get into? It was best to be prepared.
Still, it would have been nice if being prepared wasn't so heavy.
Freluna sighed and continued to walk, putting one booted foot in front of the other. At least the grass that covered almost the entire kingdom of Rakish was soft and springy. It was far more pleasant to walk on than rocky hills. Unfortunately, the rocky hills surrounded the Gaia city of Horizen, which was Freluna's destination. At least it would be quite a while before she got that far... And then would have to treck all the way back to Laksy, to assure the king that she had done her job.
After another moment of musing, Freluna was drawn from her thoughts by the sound of stone clunking under her boots? Stone? Frowning, she looked around.
Where the hell did this city come from?! What happened to all the lovely countryside?!

Dorchet ran through the forest of Megalosembria. Damn it, I can't let him get away, nor can I let him be killed by the wildlife. I've got to get him over this ridge. Dorchet drew his katana from its sheath and charged over the ridge. He jumped and landed in the middle of a river. A foul undescribable smell hit Dorchet's nostrils and he heaved himself from the river.
"Damn it! This river burns, what's in here? There goes my cloak, pants, and my boots, great, just great. At least I still have a spare cloak, now I just have to get pants and boots."
Dorchet headed towards the nearest shop and purchased a pair of pants from the woman inside. When she asked him what happened to his last pair, he said, "I fell in the river. Shut up, Serroc. Yes, it hurt. It would hurt you to if you fell in." Dorchet stalked off, barefoot, still muttering to himself and the shopkeeper jaw dropped.

"Finally some peace." Said a tall, green haired teenager as he stepped into the forest clearing. The teen, Shun was his name, drew a dagger from his waist and said an arcane word. The dagger shimmered and elongated, forming a long chain where the hilt used to be.
The chain extended to around ten feet, ending with a spiked sphere around the size of a baseball. Shun then gripped the chain near the weighted ball and began to spin the chain over his head. Faster and faster the chain spun until it looked like one big silver blur. As he got into a comfortable rhythm, Shun closed his eyes and began to meditate.
"Quiet, focus, peace. Thats all I need. Quiet, focus and peace." He thought the chain spun. However, all was not as normal as it seemed. Shortly after falling into his meditative pattern, Shun heard the shriek of metal on stone.
"What in the hells! What happened to my calm forest clearing?" Luckily for the people of the new location no one was close enough to be hit by the chain or the blade.

There are a lot of things that could happen to someone in Ankh Morpork, especially if that person is lost and confused. These things are generally not good, and unfortunately, Freluna was lost and confused.
She'd asked people where she was, and they'd generally given her an odd look and said "Sator Square." She'd asked for the name of the city, and they'd given her even odder looks. At least they had answered her with "Ankh Morpork."
A few people, men, had offered to escort her. Freluna knew enough to tell them no and quickly move away.
There were these great, stone things that looked like scaliens, monsters from home, but they were talking! They were wandering around the great, brown city and speaking intelligently! Well, for a given value of intelligence, at any rate.
One thing that no one, even people who lived in Ankh Morpork, wanted to happen to them was to have Mrs. Cake find them.
Mrs. Cake found Freluna. Freluna was glad, even if she did soon get a headache from the conversation.
"Very strange, dear," Mrs. Cake said, walking Freluna down to one end of the city.
"I was just walking along, and this city appears out of nowhere!"
"Well, wizards generally know what's what with this sort of thing."
"Is there anyone who knows why this sort of thing happens?"
"So you're not from around here, then?"
"There is no Ankh Morpork on my map! I've never heard of the place before!"
Freluna had to navigate through the conversation carefully. Somehow, it would be wrong to answer Mrs. Cake's questions after she asked them. Precognition was clearly not all that it was cracked up to be.
"Oh, yes. I forget to turn it off sometimes, you know," Mrs. Cake said as she turned to look in a vegetable stall. "It lets me know if it's safe to cross the street."
Freluna saw her chance and took it. "You have precognition, don't you Mrs. Cake?"
Mrs. Cake paused, and then thumped her ear. "There we go. Sorry, luv. Now, where had we got to?"
"Wizards, Mrs. Cake."

When you wake up in your own bed you expect to see your room, but when you wake up in an inn you don't. Dexter unexpectedly woke up in such an inn but could not say for certain, had he; payed for the room he found himself in, or slept there under less than legal circumstances? He felt safer in assuming he had no right to the room. Accordingly he used the closest exit, the second story window.
After his twenty foot fall to the earth, he brushed himself off and asked the nearest city dweller, “In what direction would I head if I wanted to find alcohol?” Finding it to early to drink, he memorized the directions but walked off in a different direction.

Such mishaps happens everywhere. Sadly, Shyuu recieved the biggest mishaps of them all. The blackhaired Swordsman wandered around the streets of Balka on a rainy day, with his blade covered in blood dragging on the ground. "Father....why......" cried out Shyuu, swinging his blade with regret and sorrow. "HEY YOU THERE! DROP THE WEAPON!!!" yelled out the guards of Balka's castle. "....Get away....." growled Shyuu, lifting his right hand facing the guards. "Flare Shot!" From his hand, a burning fireball shot out and hit one of the guards. It did enough damage to knock him out. "GET HIM! HES A DISTURBANCE TO PEACE!" Three more guards charged at Shyuu. "GET AWAY!" Shyuu lifted up his sword, and swung his blade at the guards. "Bakuenken!" Shyuu's fire energy fused with his sword and his blade turned into a fire blade, killing the three guards. "I told you to get away...."
