Not sure yet where to put this, but.. I suppose it'll be fine here for now.  So.. Doctor Who sighting in Towns. Discuss. XD Additionally, who would like to arrange some sort of get-together in Towns and do something Who based? I have found a way to record it, actually. razz

That would be so much fun.
But what would we do? All I can think of is reenacting our favourite scenes, something my best friend and I do quite often. Aside from that and general Whovian mayhem, I can't think of anything.

That would be fun.. I was thinking like if we acted and/or sorta dressed like characters and talked to random people like them. XD
I dunno, honestly.
Maybe plan one big day and take up an entire towns square and have a Who-fest. smile

We could hold some contests: costume/avatar, fanfic, art; reenact scenes. It would take some planning but a scavenger hunt would be so much fun to do. If we actually do this and you want any help in planning I'd be more than glad to help, I'm the Co-Student Coordinator for my schools annual Shakespeare Festival, and we had a great time this year, I'd love to see people getting as excited over "Who-Fest" as my school got over Shakespeare.

Let pick a day and start planning then. If we want to do contests we'll need to do some fundraising, so that we can afford prizes. And if we want to do a scavenger hunt, that will take a lot of work and planning, but they're are so much fun once their done.

How about it be a Saturday, just because the least amount of people will be busy then.
And I've wanted to do a scavenger hunt since forever.... it would be awesome. We can make a public thread in the GCD as a fundraising thread for the prizes for scavenger hunt and whatever else...

How about Saturady, The 12th of July. Just a random Summer Saturday.
GCD might work, I'm not really questing for anything at the mo, so I might start putting aside gold for stuff.
As far as the scavenger hunt goes we should find a way for people to participate somehow. Like they put they get assigned a Who related icon or something and a clue, then they put it in their profile, the icon is a small prize for finding the particular step, and the clue is for where to go next. We could use profiles, threads, Guilds, maybe even the games. A big long maze with a prize at the end for finishing the whole mess.
Sorry I'm sort of taking this over, when it was your idea. I just get really involved when it comes to planning things, and obsessive when it comes to Doctor Who. sweatdrop

I'm obsessive too, but I'm no good at keeping everything straight with this much EPIC involved. razz
