Viscoso had just finished gathering some apples for them to eat and few various flowers, just to see Krysta smile, when he returned back to their cozy little home. The baskets were just the same as always, sitting there peacefully with a blanket wrapped around them. It seemed like it had been forever since they were first born and placed into their baskets, he was starting to worry if they were okay. He placed the apples into the basket that usually held various fruits he collected and set the flowers by her side.
Not long after that a rustling sound made him look around. His first thought was someone was sniffing around their teepee but he saw that the baskets were wiggling, a lot more than usual, and a small snout peeked out. "Krysta. They're coming out! They're finally coming out of their baskets!" Adalina would probably be the last to come out out of the three of them. The first time she lifted up the lid of the basket she was almost blinded by the light. Plus who knew what was out there? But those voices...She heard them a lot and they were excited now. But why? Finally getting a little braver she pushed the entire lid off of her basket but just huddled in the wicker, still a bit blinded, until her eyes adjusted and she peeked out to see two larger horses. Instinct told her they were her parents but were they sure bright and colorful! Just like her and the other two baskets that sat around her.

Krysta was sitting in the teepee watching over the basket ans sleeping a few. She was waiting for Viscoso to be back. She knew he was worried because they babies weren't out of their basket already, but she had no worries at all, it was her calm side which tell her it. He was back with flower like always, from the first time they met he was still so attentionate. She smiled to him and then she gone put the flower on something her two legged give to her called vase. When she heard Viscose voice about the basket she felt her heart bumping in her chest and almost ran on his side. "It's time" she said with a smile full of maternal love.Tsubasa was the first one coming out of his basket, hitting it with his little hoofs. Look liked he already had so much energy. His little wings were first pasted on his back so he shaked himself to put them on their normal way. He blinked under the sun, the basket was so dark. The only light he ever saw was when his parents put fruits in. He looked at them, the two big horse near to him. He already felt loved for them, he remember hearing their voice all the time. "Mommy, Daddy" he said with a little voice. Then smiling he looked at the other baskets near to him. "Look like i'm the first". With this word he saw his brother basket cracking and after it his sister's.

The foal's tiny body had long since outgrown its wicker basket. At last, it was much too small to house Amitola, and so he began to prepare for his big entrance. What to do, what to do? Surely it had to be dramatic, and much more amazing than his siblings. With this thought in his mind, the foal pushed his stubby horn between the lid and the basket itself. Within seconds, the foal had pushed the entire lid off, and jumped onto his feet. "Tah-da!!!"
Something happened that he hadn't exactly thought through, though. He had never used his legs, and they were very unstable. Looking down as they wabbled, Amitola grumbled. "Crap." By the time he finished the word, he had fell into a heap back inside his basket. "I meant to do that!" Instead of getting back up to try again, he stayed put, waiting for a reaction to his 'amazing' reveal.

Viscoso beamed with pride, seeing his three beautiful children tumble into the world. They were perfect in every way! At least in his eyes. The boys of course were the first to come out and the most eager to come out while their little girl stayed in the wicker basket, even though she'd managed to get the lid off. The boys had gotten their mother's wings but with a wider variety of color, thanks to him. "My boys, very bright boys." He nuzzled Tsu first and chuckled at Ami before nuzzling him too. Now for the filly. He walked over behind her basket and gently tipped it up to help her slide out and onto the floor of the teepee. "You don't want to be left out, Lina. You want to come into the world and explore, don't you?" he smiled and nuzzled her cheek before beaming at Krysta. Nothing could make him happier at that moment.
Adalina blinked a few more times at the bright light and looked around at the two others about her size. They had bright wings just like her mom and they were already on their feet. "Yeah daddy but...It's..bright. Everyone's bright." She struggled to her feet and wobbled a bit as she made her way over to Krysta. "Hi momma." She smiled up at the bright mare and rubbed her nose against her leg.

The mare was so proud of her childs. Two of them, the boys even got wings like her. She will need to teach them how to fly, she wonder if she will be able to do it. But she didn't mind for the moment, she just focused on her little ones. "They are great Vis" she nuzzled each of them like her mate did. She looked at her little girl coming near to her. "Hey my little girl."
Tsubasa still looked at his siblings. Great, his brother had wings too, it would be interresting to see who will be able to fly first. His sister seemed really shy, he already sweared he would protected her all the time.He went toward his parents. "Mummy what is my name ?" because he actually didn't know.

Amitola stood up once more on his shaky legs, trying to adjust to the new environment. Everything was filled with so much color, and with so much light. Especially his family. It would surely take a while to get used to all of this. He looked at his brother. What pretty wings he had! His mother, too! Though when looking at his father and sister, he was confused. Why didn't they have wings? Did he have wings? So many new things to ask. First things first. The little colt looked back as far as he could, thrilled to discover that he had wings, too. How did they work? What did they do?
Instead of asking his parents all of these new curiosities, the colt thought. What was he supposed to do? Should he say anything? Or would asking questions be frowned upon? Everything was such new, and he decided not to be a bother. He just stood there, examining everything, and saying nothing.

Viscoso couldn't stop smiling at the wonderful sight of all his children. They were already learning new things and soon would be out exploring, learning things about the world and its inhabitants. He made his way over to his lovely mate and nuzzled her neck happily. "They're so beautiful. You did an amazing job my love." The rainbow stallion was content to just stand beside his mate and watch his beloved children but one of his sons was rather quiet. "Everything alright, Amitola? You're pretty quiet. Why don't you come over and say hello to your mother and your brother and sister?" he said as he groomed his son's short little mane.
Adalina stood quietly beside her mother as she finally got a good look at her two brothers. They were both really bright and colorful and they both had wings like momma. But when she turned her head to look at her bright wings...she didn't have any. That didn't make any sense. How come they got wings and she didn't?? "Momma. Why don't I have wings like you and my brothers?" she asked quietly, her bright blue eyes looking up at her mother.

Krysta nuzzled her little girl softly, for sure it must be disappointed for her to not have wings like her brothers. "You don't, because you too from your dad, my sweety, look he doesn't have wings too. But you still have a cute little horn, you will be able to do many things with, when you're all grow up." Then she looked at Tsubasa. "You name is Tsubasa, it means wings in an other language, a friend of mine teach me it." Her eyes back to the girl. "Yours is Adalina, my little girl" Viscoso already said the last foal name, he was really quiet, a little like her. It made her smile. "I'm not the only one who did the job Vis" she winked to him.
Tsubasa listenned everything arround him. So his name was Tsubasa, he liked it. His little sister didn't have wings, it was sort of sad, but for sure he will become strong to protect her. "Thank you mummy and daddy, i like my name". Then he ran towards his brother, why he was so quiet, they had so much things to discover, not time to think that much. "Come on Ami, let's play." He looked back to his wings. "Mum you will teach us right ? How to fly."

Amitola looked at his father strangely. Why didn't he go say hello? What did hello even mean? Oh, so many questions to ask, yet no desire to ask them. He ambled toward the rest of the family, unsure of what to do. Being stuck in a basket for three months wasn't exactly the best of experiences. It cluttered the brain with useless facts that he'd heard from surrounding Soquili, the oddest of all coming from a mare he'd soon come to know as 'Auntie Midori.' For example, he'd learned that rolling in apples not only kept you smelling great, but kept mosquitoes away. What were those? Instead of asking questions, he nuzzled his father's leg and watched his brother. Flying? What was this nonsense about flying? What was flying? It seemed this world had no place for him yet. Maybe he should go back into the basket and pull the lid shut.

Viscoso smirked back at his mate before nuzzling his son. He sure was a quiet one but it was probably just part of his personality. He slowly nudged him over to where the other three were standing and layed down beside his mate and daughter. He nuzzled Amitola again. "You can go outside and play with your brother and sister too, if she wants to go. Though I don't think you'll be able to fly right, Tsu. Your wings aren't strong enough yet."
Lina looked at her dad when he layed down and saw that her mother was right, he didn't have wings either. But then that meant that momma and her brothers would fly away without them! They can't leave! "I don't want you and brothers to fly away. Daddy and I can't fly after you because we don't have wings." She nuzzled against her mother's leg again and stayed against her just in case she did decide to fly away.

Krysta nuzzled her little girl. "Mama will never leave you my sweety, never in your life i will always be by your side. Actually mama doesn't really like flying" she whispered the last words in the little girls ears and laughed. "I will learn it to you when your wings will be strong enough Tsubasa, and Amitola, if you don't want it's ok, even if you have wings it's ok if you don't fly, but it's good to try too. You would maybe meet friend with wings too and like this you would be able to go with them in the sky.
Tsubasa made a dissapointed face. So he will need to wait, not funny. But he guessed it was normal, they just come out of their basket. "Outside ? we really can ? Come on Ami, let's go outside playing." he looked at his sister. "I will not leave you Lina i promise, i will stay by your side and protect you." And he started jumping arround, he really wanted to go outside, so many things they will see.

The foal huffed at being called 'Ami.' Wasn't that a girl's name? He grumbled and stretched his legs. "Don't call me Ami. That's not my name." With this, he headed toward the entrance of the teepee, anxious to see if outside was any more colorful than inside. If it was, he wasn't sure he could stand it.

Lina smiled up at her mother and at Tsubasa, feeling reassured that they would stay with her and daddy. She trotted over to where her dad had plopped down and tugged on his ear. "C'mon daddy, we're gonna go outside and play!" The spotted little filly trotted out after her brothers and froze right outside the teepee entrance, temporarily blinded by the bright sunlight. "Why is it so bright??" she asked no one in particular and slowly opened her eyes as they adjusted. Everything was so green! Lots of grass and tall trees and there were a bunch of buzzing things that flew by every once in a while. It was so...big!
Viscoso chuckled at his children and got back to his feet to give Krysta another nuzzle. "Well we better try to keep an eye on them. Who knows where they'll want to go and what they'll want to get into," he said with a laugh. Even his eyes had to adjust once he had stepped out of the teepee due to the brightness of the sun. "The sun is what's so bright. It makes everything grow, like the grass and the trees. Without the sun everything would be dark." He found a nice sunny patch to lay down in to keep watch over the foals as they explored.

Krysta stood on her legs too, sure they will need to keep an eyes on them, they will ran away everywhere for sure. "I'm coming" she said to Viscoso when he spoke to her. Then she came out too, it was really a sunny day, all bright everywhere.
Tsubasa laughed at his brother reaction. "Alright Amitola" then he ran outside with the others. The sun was bright for sure and warm, it was a new thing for him. He jumped in the grass, it was fresh, strange difference. Then he heard a noise, a clear noise. "What is this noise ?" he asked to his parent, showing it was coming from the river, but he didn't knew it was it he heard.

Amitola's eyes widened. So many new things! He sniffed at the grass, unsure of what to think. "Dad! Look at this stuff! It's so..." What was the word to describe it? Perhaps a color? But which one? Purple? No, he'd heard that was usually dark. Yellow? Quite possible, but he'd never heard of the ground being described as yellow. Green? That was it! Green! "It's green, Daddy! Green!" The colt's face seemed to light up for the first time since he'd left his basket. How proud he was to figure out something all by himself.
