He didn't even want to look back he just kept running. He was sleeping happily in the shade, then he started dreaming of the old nanny that mistreated him, then slowly the rest of the pack. When he opened his eyes hoping to awake from the nightmare, there was a female wild dog staring at him.
He wasn't sure if they were following him but he wanted to keep going. He was starting to get extremly tired, it had to be about twenty minutes he had been running. He was panting heavely, as he mand his way to a watering hole and leaned over lapping up water.
He closed his eyes as he sat there. He was running from his fears. How are you gonna learn to trust them Talbot!? You want to trust them, you don't want to be afraid anymore but the more you run the least its gonna help! He thought to himself. He looked down at the ground.

Raising a brow, Aminali wasn't sure where she was but she didn't sense any danger so she was at ease for now. She had grown bored and she didn't feel like doing anything today. The female wild dog laid out on the grass underneath a small tree yawning lazily. Next to her, the life around the small watering hole buzzed as she wasted the day away. She didn't want to hunt, move or do anything in general. The heat was beginning to get to her. Her eyes flickered and she almost fell asleep when she heard something drinking water nearby. Lifting her head curiously, Aminali looked at the white wild dog curiously.
There wasn't anything else to do.... Should she say something? What if he just turned out to be a weirdo like so many other wild dogs she had met. There was no telling who you might meet out here. "Uh, hello there?" She observed him curiously thinking that he looked normal enough. But she should know, looks were so deceiving.

Talbot never noticed the female by now. It caught him off gaurd, a female voice, calling out to what must have been himself. He turned around quickly and sunk to the ground. His ears went back and his tail between his legs, it was a female, Wild dog too. His spine was stiff he really coundn't move.
You run from fears then you run right back into them. Get over it Talbot, nows your chance.
Thats what his mind told him but his body other wise, it was still frozen in fear. "I-I'm sorry fo-for interup-ting you." His voice was shaky. "I do Apolgise. My name is Tal- Talbot Jabez, you can Call me Talbot Ma'am." He leaned down into a bow.

Staring at him curiously, Aminali sensed his tension. Was there something dangerous around? She looked left and right wondering if he was being chased by something. "Uh. You weren't interrupting anything. Are you alright?" She stared at him as if trying to tell if he was lying or something. "It's... a pleasure. I go by Animali." She didn't understand other animals sometimes.
Slowly, Animali stood up and walked over to the watering hole. She lowered her muzzle and drank heartily. The heat pounded on her back and she looked up after drinking for a few seconds.

Talbot watched the female relaxing a bit. "Ni-Nice to meet you Aminali." He nodded glad to know he wasn't interupting somthing. he ingored her question for a moment, his mind raced on what to say.
Here's your chance, she seems nice, she might be able to help you. Say somthing before you look like a Idiot!
His attention snapped back to the female. He took a deep breath in. "I guess you could say I am not that confurable with females... I was abused by them and have troubles trusting them... I-I'm sorry if I scared you.."

Raising a brow slightly, Aminali almost wanted to laugh. He was uncomfortable with females? That was very strange. She was alright with males but they were just... different and took some getting used to. But she preferred to hang out with males anyway, they were less hormonal then females were. But then she heard him mention that he was abused by them. "Eh, you didn't scare me. Trust me, it takes a lot to scare me." She winked at him playfully feeling that she should try and make him feel a little more comfortable. "I'm sorry to hear that. But you don't have to worry about me. I wouldn't harm you even if I wanted to." Aminali was pretty civilized and would rather not spill anybody's blood as it caused too much trouble for her. "Not all females are abusive. You don't have to worry." She smiled slightly but she seemed slightly awkward since she didn't smile too much.

Talbot smiled the females words were comfuting. But he would not move. "Thank you for telling me that, but it isn't that easy for me to think that." He sighed.
"I was born into a pack where I was born prince, but my parents died not that long after I was born. My mother died giving birth to me I was the only out of a large litter to live, on top of that I looked nothing like my parents, I was considered a curse. Not to long after my mothers death I my father died." He sighed, "But it was said he killed himself. Before he died he put the nanny incharge until I was old enough to become king." His muzzle dropped to the ground.
"She was meaner then everyone though, she just wanted my place, she was intended on making me look to insane to become king. She would beat me senceless, every change she got for no reason, I had problems talking so everyone thought I was too crazy to take my true spot. They would also tell me I was worthless and I killed my parents. So I left after a while."
He clenched his teeth. "I know one female is no reason to not trust others but the thing was most of the pack members were females. At first they felt bad but after a while they all started beating up on me. And when I ran away females were cruel to me."
He sat up. "But I will take your word, Aminali, that you will not hurt me, but I won't trust you all the way." He moved over to the side of the water next to her. "Would you mind my company for a bit? Who knows this might help me." He smiled. Part of the truth was he thought she looked pretty, it was worth a try, trying to trust her.

Aminali was a great listener and she frowned when he was done talking. Born a prince? That was hard to believe, from what she had seen of him. "That's unfortunate. But that's understandable." She said that she understood but another part of her was screaming to say that she didn't understand. Why didn't he just fight back? That's what she would have done at least. There were a lot of things she didn't understand because of the isolation she's had from most animals.
"But like I said, that's okay because I don't trust you either." She smiled once more and laughed slightly. She didn't trust anybody but herself because she had been left alone once... She didn't need to trust another again and have the same thing happen. Her past was a little sketchy and she didn't remember everything. But one thing she was sure of, she didn't trust anybody and she needed to assert herself and keep strong. If she didn't stay strong, the land around her would eat her up.
"Sure, I don't mind. I'm not going anywhere in particular though."

He nodded he himself knew his past wasn't the happiest story ever, but there was others with worse, then again there was others that had it better. She didn't say where she stood but that wouldn't matter.
Talbot smiled a bit at her words. "Good then maybe we can teach eachother to trust a bit better." He grinned and sat up some trying to calm himself further, it was working but just knowing she could go back on anytime and attack him.
He smiled a bit. "Well thats ok. I don't really expect going any where eaither, I was just running and it is so hot today, maybe we can just talk, maybe under that tree. Its nice and shady. But If I am correct, ladies should choose." He looked at her with a smile, his tail wagged slightly.

Sometimes her strength could be interpreted as being headstrong and stubborn. She didn't doubt that she was either and if others didn't like the way she acted, then they could leave. She could care less. "Perhaps." But she highly doubted it. Just running? He seemed to have been running pretty damned fast.
But... he seemed nice enough. Aminali wasn't expecting him to all of a sudden start attacking her but she was always alert. "Sure, why not." She smiled softly once more and moved back to the tree she was laying under. The female laid down underneath the shade of the tree. Ah, the shade felt so nice on her back. She disliked the hot weather but she needed to get used to it since it was hot basically all of the time especially in midday.
"So Talbot. Why were you running about here? Isn't it a little... warm to be exercising?" That was an understatement, it was more then hot. It would be smarter to wait until it got a little cooler to run about.

Talbot pushed himself off the ground wadnering over to the tree after her. His tail swayed between his legs and he flopped down under the cool shade. The grass felt slightly wet, it was nice. Cool grass, nice shade. He closed his eyes for a moment taking it in.
His tail flopped up and down as he sat there. He lost his train of thought for a second, forgetting where he was, but then he rembered. He blushed at her question. "I was running from a female. I guess it kinda didn't work though." He laughed. "I was having a nightmare about my old pack and well when I woke up she was just staring at me. I freaked and started running." He looked down at the grass between his paws. "I must have ran for a good 15 minutes maybe more. It is hot I just needed to get away, well thats what I told myself." He looked up at her. "So, why are you out here alone?" He asked in a honest voice.

Aminali closed her eyes slowly and listened to the nature around her. It felt nice... to just be laying here with not a worry in the world. That was very rare for her.. She needed to just relax for once. She would be a happier wild dog if she did. She listened to him explain why he was running.
She couldn't help but laugh softly. "Oh wow. You really don't like females do you? I'm surprised you're even sitting her next to me." The female paused and thought about the things she didn't like. His fear seemed very irrational to her since there were a lot of females roaming about. It would take her awhile to understand it. She tilted her head curiously once more. "A nightmare? I don't think I've ever... had a nightmare before." She might have one before but if she didn't remember it then it didn't matter. "You're so silly." She grinned and contemplated.
"Well, I was just wandering around and fell asleep underneath that tree. I don't have anything better to do... I get bored really easily." Aminali really preferred to be alone anyway so living in a pride was unappealing to her.

Talbot smiled and nodded. "Yes, I guess I am. But theres always part of me that wants to trust them. I don't like being afraid." He admited, as he looked up he smiled. "It is quiet a surprise I'm still here is right." He gave her a grin.
Talbot smiled. "Yes a nightmare, a bad dream. Most of the time it is about expricences you already had that you didn't like, its.... scary." He looked up in the tree for a moment until she said that he was silly, a smile grew across his maw. He faced her and rolled over on his back and pulled his feet down to himself and stuck out his tounge and gave a goofy grin. "Well why not be silly?" He asked with a laugh.
"Your another that gets bored easily too?" He asked with a laugh. "Glad to know I'm not alone in this world."

He wants to trust them? "That's a matter of conflicting feelings my friend." The female chuckled once more. Everything the other wild dog said, she had problems understanding but she didn't want to say that she couldn't identify with him. At least he was keeping her company and that was nice of him. She would have been a lot more bored if he wasn't keeping her company right now. "A nightmare..." She spoke softly and thought about what she could possibly have a nightmare about. "That's strange. Like I said earlier, it's hard to scare me so I couldn't imagine... something in my head scaring me that much." What she didn't take into account was, was how real it could possibly seem to her. Oh well, she would have to experience it before she could understand it.
Watching him curiously, Aminali smiled as he turned over and stuck his tongue at her. She stuck her tongue back at him playfully. "Sure, why not. We all need something to do during this blazing heat." She grinned mischievously at him and then looked out to the watering hole.

Talbot nodded to the female. "I could imange it being hard to have nightmares if you are not scared of much. But somethings scare you more then you think, some times you also don't rember nightmares, or even dreams." He nodded, he was told every night you had a dream but you don't always rember it.
His face turned into a smirk at the mischievous grin he recived. He rolled over so he was once more laying on his stomach, his head above his paws. "So, Aminali, if you are bored quiet easily then what do you do for fun?" He asked pawing at her a bit. He then pushed himself up so he could sit. "I really never have company, most of the things I do, I do alone, swimming, hunting, making fun of hyenas, Witch isn't really smart some times..." He grinned at her. "I would like a person to travel with. But I havn't came across some one who really doesn't belong some where."
