~♥~

Well these arent really spells,
but meditation right before bedtime helps me to sleep.
Also, you should try drinking chamomile tea.
Chamomile is a known herb that helps people sleep.
I wish I could give you a spell,
but I've never needed to try a sleeping spell
so I don't know what works and what doesn't.
Sorry.
sad

Thanks for the advice. Ill take anything i can get. I tried sleeping pills, and they did not work. Made it worse actually. i tried to calm myself and use meditation like you said, but all that did was make me want to go run around outside. And where i live that is not the best idea.

Though i never tried any herbal or natural methods so the tea might help.

A bit of lavender under the pillow or in the pillow case is supposed to promote a restful sleep.

I have found that if you cut out caffiene before 9pm helps.
Also I try to take a warm bath, sometimes i will read for about 5 minutes then just soak and try to relax my day away. I try to keep my bedroom at about 60F. And I turn off the tv and I don't read in bed if I want to sleep.

Ask me about what happens when I don't follow my own advice? I get insomnia.

Good luck, I hoped this help.

I don't know any spells but I agree with meditation.
What you do as you lay in bed. you start with your toes and take a deep cleansing breath in. As you exhale you say good night to your toes. and the ankles and legs and and hips. take in a cleansing breath and on letting each breathe out you say good night to each part of your body.

Also before doing that. you take a piece of paper. scrap paper preferably.
and write down all negative things that happened. as you write you are filling your body with positive energy. and filling the paper with negative energy.
As you fold the paper, " you say ok tonight I am only going to think of good things. as you are relaxing trying picturing yourself near a brook. You are laying on the grass and listening to the brook. You are looking at the stars.
you are letting go of all negative feelings and thoughts.

This does work. Also for those that really want pleasent dreams. take some lavender (unless your are allergic). and put some in a piece of cloth under your pillow. Put a dream catcher above your bed. Make sure that the sun can get to the bead on the dreamcatcher. because the sun removes all bad dreams. and the next night it is fully recharged to take your bad dreams away again. I have 2 dreamcatchers over my bed.
One on my boyfriends side of the bed and one on mine.

ok, i used to go to bed at 8:30, but not fall asleep till 11:00, and i later found it was because school was stressfull, and that having a clean room makes it easyer to fall asleep. i cleaned out my bedroom, and i've been sleeping soundly ever since!!! the tea should work as well. if meditation doesn't work for u, i can't give u magickal help, srry...

I found this and hope it helps.
Use spells at your own risk.
If you are not sure of what your doing, then don't do it.
You may not like the end result.
But most spells involve meditation.
And always use a protection spell before and after chanting any spell.
Including a sleeping spell.

Also if anyone is allergic to any of the items listed in these spells let me know. I will find others.

WHAT IS A SPELL?

A spell is a way of focusing energy to make a change;
an old form of magic.
It is a way in which one uses energy to create a desired result. It's magic in the form of a prayer.
One must have complete control and self disipline over oneself to be able to make a spell work.

ELEMENTS
The five elements;
Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit.

TOOLS
The tools needed:
Stones(or Crystal), Incense, Candles.

-------------------------------------------------------

~A SLEEPING SPELL~
To help you get peaceful sleep, or if you are having trouble sleeping,
say in a loud voice untill you whisper and then until you are just thinking the words:
"Peace be mine, In this Sleeping time,
Dreams be sweet, Allow me to sleep."

---------------------------------------------------------

~CURING A HEADACHE SPELL~
Concentrate all your thought on where the pain is and chant three times aloud:
"Tame thou flesh and blood, as our lady tames the lion."
This is a good spell because it can be done anytime, anywhere.

-------------------------------------------------------

~SPELL FOR RELAXING~
Combine three parts pine needles, two parts bay leaves and one part rosemary.
Place into a pouch (an old sock will do). Place into your bath water and relax.
This helps replinish your energy.

------------------------------------------------------

~SPELL OF DREAMS~
Set eight candles in a N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW pattern. Focus on a photo of the person you want to dream about.
Think about what you want to happen in the dream. Let the candles burn out.
Use black for evil, red for dreams of lust and white for good dreams.
Use caution with lit candles. Never leave them near curtains or any place a draft could get to them. Never leave them unattended.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

~A SPELL TO CALM AND CENTER ONESELF~
You will need a smooth, rounded stone, smaller than your fist; and some soothing taped music.
Sit while holding the stone and listening to the music in a quiet room at home, or outside, if the weather is nice.
Breathe deeply and rythmically.
Begin inhaling through your mouth, then exhaling through your nostrils with a long, steady humming note.
With each exhalation, make the note smoother and draw it out longer.
Breathe your tension and anxiety into the stone.
When you feel calm and centered, put the stone on the ground, open the circle and walk away.
The stone will dissipate the tension into the Earth, to be transmutted; if you wish, you can retrieve the stone in a day or two for later use.

----------------------------------------------------------

~HOW TO MAKE A DREAM PILLOW~
It's best to use pure silk or cotton. Use your favorite color.
Sew it into a pillow shape. Fill with the following herbs:
Cinnamon,
Clove,
Rosehips,
Saffron,
Flax Seed,
Add Essential Oils:
Lemon Oil,
Lemongrass Oil,
Orange Oil,
Lavender Oil.
Sew the pillow closed. Visualize yourself waking up in the morning having remembered very important dreams.

Place a sachet of Lavender on your pillow and say over it before you go to sleep:

Peace be mine,
In this sleeping time.
Dreams be sweet,
Allow me to sleep.

repeat 2 or 3 times. just lay down and relax. let your body, mind, spirit relax.
make sure that no one is going to check on you or need something.
once you do this you will feel release and relax and hopefully sleep.
