Weaselfur was hungry, and the fresh kill pile was small. He wanted to go for a hunt but did not know if anyone else would come with him. There were a number of she-cats who could come, but a certain tortoiseshell caught his eyes. She was stunning with her gorgeous amber eyes. The beautiful Windclan cat could be his potential mate. Weaselfur padded up to the radiant creature and meowed "Would you like to go for a hunt?" If she said yes, he would be jubilant.

Morningflower turned to see a ginger furred tom asking if she wanted to go hunting. "Sure", she meowed. She hadn't been hunting for a while and the fresh-kill pile was looking small. "Have I talked to you before? You seem familiar." Morningflower slowly asked.

"Oh thank starclan!" He muttered to the simply stunning she-cat. "My name is Weaselfur." he mewed. "Shall we leave?" He meowed," The forest awaits." He gestured her into the clearing, and padded out of camp.

She was some what nervous to go out hunting with Weaselfur. "So, why did you pick me to go hunting with you", she asked nervously

"Well, I picked you because you seemed fun." Weaselfur didn't want to admit he was really in love. He sniffed the air for prey. "I smell mouse!" He meowed, ready to catch Morningflower a prey.

She lifted her head and sniffed. "It seems like it is coming from that direction. She ran up to Weaselfur. She crouched into hunting position. And when the rabbit came into sight she leaped. Then she sunk her teeth into the creatures small neck. "Well, thats more prey for the clan", she meowed proudly. Then she burried it under some dry leaves. "We can come back for the rabbit later."

Weaselfur was envious. He wanted to catch the first prey. "Nice catch." He meowed trying to cover his emotions. He sniffed the air again, this time tasting the scent of bird. He crouched into a hunting position and leaped in the air. The small cream bird flew away. "Birds..." Weaselfur muttered.

"Nice job Weaselfur. Try again but this time nothing that can fly." She snickered. Then lifted her head again and sniffed. "I smell rabbit. It's coming from over there but Weaselfur was already on its scent.

Weaselfur crouched down. His ear picked up the sounds of a vole. When the vole came into the clearing, he leaped. He pounced on the small creature. He picked up his prize to show Morningflower. "You aren't the only one who can catch prey!" he meowed. He put his rabbit under the pile of leaves.

"Well done. How about we have a little race", she suggested. She turned and faced him."Once I get the mouse I caught I will race you back to the camp." She ran to get her mouse before Weaselfur could even answer.

" I don't think so," he mewed, " that is something an apprentice would do." Before he finished Morningflower already had her rabbit. He walked over and picked up his rabbit. "Fine" he meowed, "We can go to the camp." The look in her wonderful amber eyes showed determination and joy.

Her feet barely touched the ground as she ran. Even with a mouse in her mouth she still could run as fast as the wind. Her multi-colored fur flew in the wind. She spotted Weaselfur right next to her. They were evenly matched.

Weaselfur ran at a high speed. His speed matched with Moriningflower's. There was no way he could win. She was one of the fastest cats in windclan. The open moor made everything seem bright. He chased her down one of the hills into camp. He glanced over to see that she had tied him.

"Yay we tied", she purred happily. She dropped her catch on the fresh-kill pile and walked back to the warrior's den.
