Hey members, and my fab crew. I'm sure you're all aware of what this forum is intended for. It is a place for you to "publish" [loosely used] stories, poems, essays, short-stories, fan fiction, etc for people to read. I'm hoping this will help build confidence in your writing. There will be a separate thread for people to write criticisms and praise in. Only the authors can write in their threads, this saves space and time for their stories.
Rules are fairly simple and obvious, mostly common sense.
1. No plagiurising, it demeans everything and everyone.
2. Include warnings of violence, sexual content, etc.
3. Include an age-limit on your stories, no way to stop younger readers but we try.
4. First post must include: title, characters, rating, genre, disclaimer[if fanfic], short summary, other if you wish.
5. I hope you include dates of submission too.
6. Do NOT post in a members fiction thread. Post praise or crticism in the appropriate threads.

In addition to the previously mentioned rules, I would like to suggest that any works containing racism, sexism, or any other negative content that others may find offensive should be deleated as soon as it is reported and that the mods or Captain discuss the penalty for the author.

Akira Ashiya In addition to the previously mentioned rules, I would like to suggest that any works containing racism, sexism, or any other negative content that others may find offensive should be deleated as soon as it is reported and that the mods or Captain discuss the penalty for the author. A brilliant idea. Any of this content which is deemed to be the author's views will be penalised. However, if writing fanfiction where a character is racist, this will be checked by the staff. Include warnings.

Fullmoon_Twilight123 So if someone wanted to post their fiction, where would they post it? Would they create a new topic in this subforum? Yes that's the idea, create a new topic and this is yours and yours alone, noone else can post there. That's why we have praise and criticism threads.

OOH! ok...One day, I might create one but it'd definetely have to be a day where I'm in the MOOD to create one because I get seriously brain-dead if I have to make a story/poem on a boring day.

What happens to me is I'd be in the middle of writing a story and a new idea will hit me so I run with it, afraid to lose it. Heh.

Really? Me too! It's kind of annoying Yeah, it can be. I'd just write and write and write until I get another idea and I write that one. Then I get another idea and start writing that one. I've got tons of unfinished stories everywhere, but I put them up online because one day I'll go back and finish them.
