A few grammar errors every now and then, but I like your idea! But, you changed Jona's age from 15 to 17 in the second part. I wouldn't drop it- it's interesting to read, but I would spend more time describing things and adding some more character development; it seems a little rushed. Other than that, maybe work on dialogue a little bit? The speech doesn't quite flow with the rest of your story. (Not saying to get rid of it, just work on integrating it)
