Rain soaked mane stuck to the mare's coat as the raccoon colored Sienna made her way through a sudden rain shower. The spring was unpredictable as always it seemed. Then again, this was her first official spring... Where were all the pretty flowers and green grass lands that her mother and father spoke of? All she'd seen was miserable weather lately... The trudging of heavier hooves behind her made the mare look behind herself momentarily to see her grandfather, Verloren, following after her, just as wet as she was.

"Whoa! Slow down there Sienna. I know you're not all that fond of the rain and all but you don't have to hurry that much!" A brilliant green stallion shouted after his granddaughter. It was hard to believe that the two were related for they were nothing alike in coloration... or personality. The only thing either of them had in common were the stripes on their coats and their sense of occasional playfulness. Verloren wanted to spend some time with his mute granddaughter but, like her mother, she didn't seem to have too much patience for him, much to his dismay. Then again, I guess I'm just used to this kind of weather... The stallion thought to himself rather sadly.
