"Ooh...This is pretty trippy," Furanken murmurred as she gazed around the room, expecting some gigantic magical rift...All she saw however, was a set of doors in front of her, as well as one behind her. "Kamakura, Spira, Feaudal Japan..." She read aloud she paced across the three then stepped back, entering the first door she read.
Kamakura.

Nonohara Nemu is seated upon the boat for what felt like a small eternity. As the boat drifted ever closer to it's destination, dense fog grew thicker and thicker. She had predictably dozed off, so much of the irregularity of the journey went unnoticed by her. If she had been awake, she would have eventually noticed the fact that the boat had disappeared. But she didn't plunge into the water, no. Instead she continued to be moved along slowly, apparently carried by the wind instead. This continued for only a short while, during which the wind moved her to a position (4)
more or less standing up. The fog was even thicker now, enough that she could barely see her hand in front of her face. If her eyes were actually open, that is. She slowly began to wake up, her eyes fluttering open as her mind struggled to recognize the world around her. She was somehow standing up, had she been sleep-walking again? She nearly fell over when she finally felt solid ground beneath her, but somehow managed to stay upright. The fog slowly began to clear, enough that she could see several large and ornate doors in front of her. (5)
She turned her head first one way, then another. Each door looked unique, and had a small placard fixed at eye height so she could presumably tell what each door led to. There were four doors, each very different from one another. One looked to be composed of a pale blue crystal, or perhaps made out of the sky itself. It's sign said it led to Spira. But it was currently boarded up, so she couldn't go that way. There were three other doors in front of her. Looking behind her, there was one m ore behind her as well. That one was labeled Home. (6)
She turned back and looked at the other three doors. All three had similar architecture, with the middle one looking rather more new than the other two. The other two were both reminiscent of sliding doors, with different designs painted upon them. One looked to be a bird about to take flight, while the other was an imposing demon of some kind. The bird door, labeled Rurouni, seemed like it might be interesting, but the other door called to her. No, not the demon one, that one looked scary. No, the middle door, the one that looked like the entrance (7)
to an old-fashioned inn of some kind. As she looks at the door, she feels a headache begin to well up within her. Blinking several times in quick succession, she looks at the door for a moment longer. Has she seen it before? She feels like she has, but she can't remember it. She lurches forward, and presses a hand against the door. The wood feels cool against her hand. And damp? She pulls her hand away, looking at her palm. There's nothing there, even if it felt like there was. She opens the door and steps inside, mouthing it's name. "Kaedesou..." (8 )
