Toddler Quest: Goku!Hah! Look at you little shortie, I've got your banana! Wait wait! Don't pick me up! HOLY CRAP NO! TAKE THE STUPID BANANA ALREADY!!
... um.. *dusts self off* Okay muscle man, it's also time for you to become a toddler. But the question is.. Does your guardian know what powers lie within this tiny body? Let's just make sure she does! On an outing, you need to lift something hundreds of times your body weight. Be it a car, a horse, or what have you.. It's gotta be big! What do you lift? What provoked you to lift it? And what reaction does everyone around you have?
"What he has is too much pent up energy" Fallon told Siyanna, raising an eyebrow at the black haired youngster in her arms, who was currently reaching up to pull on her hair. Goku had been with them a while now, and when he wasn't sleeping, he was up and getting into much mischief!
"You are right..no no you don't pull!" Siy said, giving him a poke to the nose. Quickly he grabbed her finger and squeezed it, what seemed beyond normal infant strength capacity. A small yelp on her part and he let go and giggled. "I think I'm going to take him to the Faire, fresh air, some activity...that should do him some good! I hope!”
It was a cloudless day, and the yearly renaissance faire was being held nearby. Siyanna reached the front and bought her ticket, little ones get in free. Goku had his eyes wide open, so many new sights and sounds, and the place was huge! He wanted to explore! But she was keeping a tight hold on him, and didn’t seem to ever want to let go. Her reasoning was there were too many people, it was dangerous to let a very small child alone in this kind of place!
Noon came about, and everyone was stopping by to grab lunch. They took a seat at a table, seated by a couple of knights and a lady in a beautiful gown. Siyanna had bought herself a plate of food, and some cotton candy she could share little bits of with Goku. He fiddled with it before watching his guardian take a bite. He did the same. Oh so yummy!
“Cute kid.” Siyanna looked up, it was one of the knight’s. “Oh, well thank you.” She said, giving Goku another piece of cotton candy at his demand. He was really enjoying it! But she was kind of weary of giving him too much sugar…
“You should bring him to the Joust, I’m sure he’d enjoy it!” The knight picked up his plate and trash to throw away. It became obvious, the two were both in the event, that would be exciting!
“I’m sure he would!” She replied, gathering her own stuff to toss out, and picking up the kid.
They followed the knights and apparently got there early, there was nobody in the bleachers yet. "Event is in two hours," the knight told her, seeing her expression. Goku reached out, trying to touch the man's armor. It sparkled and made interesting noises, and he wanted to investigate it. A loud whinny sounded behind her and she nearly jumped. The other knight had brought out his horse for a visit. She turned around quickly, giving a nervous laugh. Goku's eyes went wide and the big creature now in front of him. The horse merely snorted, nosing the boys hair. "You'd better go find a good seat, people are piling in!" The man motioned towards the bleachers, and sure enough, a crowd was forming. She thanked them, and both of them were off to find the best seats they could.
Soon they were sitting in a relatively shady spot, and Goku sat beside her, fiddling with a small bug he found crawling on the seat. "No no Goku don't touch that! Bug bad!" She shooed it away with her hand. He replied by crawling off the bleacher and onto the ground. He giggled defiantly. "Goku! Oh you..." Siyanna shook her head, keeping an eye on him. It was hard to reach him when he was down there. "Come out, your going to miss the joust!" Sure enough the horn sounded, and she heard the trampling of hooves ahead of them. She glanced up to look.
"Ba!" There it was, the bug! But Goku couldn't reach it, it was too far under the bleachers. He tried crawling under but it wasn't working. And the bug wasn't coming out! There was lots of noise, people were up screaming and shouting, booing and hurraying, but he didn't care. He would just have to make it so he could reach the bug! He took hold of the bottom of the seat with his little hands, and began to lift. Now there was room! But what was all that other noise? Not happy screams!
"What?!" Siyanna flipped out, as well as the rest of the people on these seats. Earthquake? No, it didn't feel right. They started tumbling from their standing positions. Siy jumped off, she had to get Goku out of here! She got on her hands and knees and looked under, the whole bleacher was nearly off the ground and swaying, everyone on top was pushing and shoving in a mad attempt to get to the grounded seats nearby.
She spied him. He was sitting there, one arm up holding the bleachers, and the other one reaching for something. ...how?! "Goku get out of there!" Siyanna said frantically. All sorts of bad thoughts of him getting squished or injured down there running through her mind. He turned to her with a pout, setting the seats down as if they were made of nothing and crawling back to her. She scooped them up in her arms in a fierce hug.
"The HELL?!" A guy and what might have been his wife were staring at Goku, slack jawed. They had seen it all. He raised a shaking finger, "That kid..that baby! He...picked up the entire thing!" His wife was nearly in tears, either from shock or fright Siyanna couldn't say. She didn't even know what to think of it herself! But if this got out..."You..you must have been drinking too much ale." She said. The man simply stared at the both of them, like they were ghosts or something. It was probably time to get home, now. She slowly turned around and walked out of there, listening for pursuit, but none came. What did she expect? To be chased out with pitchforks?
It was late, the sun was low in the sky and it was getting dark. Goku was asleep in his little bed, worn out from events of the day. "So how was it?" Fallon asked, looking up from something he was writing. She glanced back at the boy. "Well...lets say we need to enforce some new rules around the house...."
