The Kurai Tribes beliefs revolve around darkness and shadows. Blood too, but thats just with their association with vampires, thank you Koumori and Chi

:: Job Descriptions ::
Elder: Able to receive messages from the Gods through dreams. Makes the decisions for the tribe and also very experienced in a Shaman's work, a Hunter's work, a Gatherer's work, and a Scout's Work.
Shaman: Foxes that take care of the sick and injures. They also can read the stars and moon and can occasionally also communicate with the Gods through dreams like the Elder.
Hunter: Hunt animals for food.
Gatherer: Basically like the little "Yes Foxes" for the Shaman and Hunters, not slaves, just like helpers. They gather herbs with the shaman and gather the kills with the hunter. They also gather fruits and vegetables for food.
Scout: Scout and patrol the tribe borders. They also serve as messengers to give messages to ally tribe and also alert ally tribes if the Kurai Tribe is in trouble. They can also alert the hunters when the herds of large animals come in, though the Shaman's would already know that by reading the skies.
Carers: They take care of the precious kits who are the future of the tribe. They are responsible for them unless the kits are in a training session for a job. They also take the blame if the kits are lost, though the punishment isn't severe unless they kits are never found or found dead.
Tribe Members: You have no specific job. You help out anyone who needs it when they need it.

A low, deep sigh emitted from the tree line when a Modifox sauntered out into view. The crescent moon disappeared behind the clouds with a gust of cold wind, ripping through his fur, embracing him. His ears fluttered with the icy breeze and he howled at the moon from the sheer drop of the black precipice to a valley below enclosed by a thick, dense forest.
He inhaled the crisp air through his nose. The first word that entered his mind was pure . . . . . As he exhaled, he closed his crimson eyes. He could still feel the ghastly light cast by the moon behind the gray clouds that illuminated the valley, and yet he welcomed it.
His sister was some ways behind him, satisfying her hunger which he did earlier. He licked his fangs and let out a dark, mournful howl again. He found the place where their new life would begin, whether his sister liked it or not.

Jasper had been wondering around for some time now, alone for once. Or, mostly alone. There was a small piece of jewelry around his right paw, and if you took a closer look it was easy to spot the little BCR. He had no idea how it happened, but this was his child and he was, surprising, determined to give it a good father. However, all of Calcu's ideas were driving him crazy so he finally lot him in the woods.
He glanced around at his surrounding, smiling lightly to himself. For once he was in a fairly decent area. Not one too populated by other foxes and everything seemed fairly calm. He took a deep breath of the cool air around him and sighed lightly. Perfect.
Just then his ears perked up, he could hear someone near by. It sounded as if it were a smaller fox, more then likely a female and he rolled his eyes lightly. Thank goodness he didn't have Calcu with him. He continued to walk a bit more, until he could make out a shape in the distance, though it was kind of hard to make out.

Laying on a rock in the night sky faintly lit by the decaying light of the moon, Chi's blood red eyes were snapped open, staring into the oblivion of the sky. The claws of her front left paw gripped the side of the gray rock, which looked black at this point, etching white marks onto its surface. She sighed as she heard her brother howl, her ears flicking around. She didn't feel like responding with a howl of her own. Not like he expected her to anyway.
Her tail lashed around as she heard the faint sound of paws approaching her and the jingle of some sort of metallic item. Her head raised from its position on her right foreleg, her fangs glistening in the dim light. "I know you're there . . ." Came her voice, a malicious tone twined with it. "Reveal yourself, before my mercy fades . . ."

Jasper's eat stood up as he heard the threat. However, he chuckled lightly, finding it funny that someone actually dared to threaten him. Though, he did understand the fact that this wasn't his territory. So more then likely he had simply ticked someone off. He walked a bit closer, finally able to make out the form of the female fox.
"I don't think there's any need for threats. I'm simply stumbling through and trying to find some place to settle down." Jasper said, now stepping close enough to have a good look at the female. The first thing he noticed was the spattered fur and he smirked lightly. He had a feeling he'd like it here.

Chi scanned the male, believing his tone. Though it wouldn't end well if he tried anything rash. She sighed, letting her head fall back down where it was before this fox came along. "Go find my brother, for he'll be the one you'd need to talk to." She advised, flicking her tail in the direction of Koumori. "Just follow the howls."
