So, I was laying on my bed, reading May's Game Informer magazine, when I noticed an interview with Todd Howard (creator of The Elder Scrolls series), in which he was talking about his 'dream projects'.
At first he talked about how he'd love to make a Batman game, but at the end he said:
"If I can't make that, I'll go with Sweeney Todd the Wii game. SingStar meets Manhunt. Player two makes meat pies. That one designs itself."
Now now, little children, calm down. This doesn't necessarily mean that he will make it, it just means that there is at least one person out there who'd love to make a Sweeney game for the Wii. (Admittedly, after I read that part I was wide-eyed for about a minute, then had to calm myself and read it again to make sure I wasn't dreaming.)
I thought I'd share the news with you guys here because, well, let's face it: a Sweeney game for the Wii would pwn life itself. And now that there's official news that someone'd be willing to make the game..... ^ /// ^

i wanna be the pie maker. but, i would seriously rent it before i bought it. i have a feeling a sweeney todd game would suck somehow.

Well, I mean, it would be made by The Elder Scrolls guy, so I mean, it couldn't suck THAT bad. That's the beauty of it all~ ^^

I would, too! I wonder what the plot would be about, though. Would it follow the movie, or would it be a sequel?? Well, then again, there couldn't be a sequel, what, with everyone dying and all. o - o
Oooh! Or it could be a prequel with when Benny was in prison and you get to kill people there! Or, of course, it could follow after an alternate ending to the movie where Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett are still pwning people.... BY THE SEA. Wouldn't that be smashing?? 8D
Or maybe.... *Rambles on*

That would be incredible if you could choose to live out either Mrs. Lovett or Sweeney's life. Sweeney could have the prequel storyline with criminal-killing action! Mrs. Lovett can...make a lot of pies.
Then when you complete both stories, you can unlock...karaoke/DDR! Sweeney style of course! ;D >><<

I dunno, a video game is just kind of taking it a little far, don't you think? I mean, you would have to actually kill people with the controller... actually cutting into them... You know the parents would have a field day with that.

But here's a few ideas for the game anyway:
- Specially designed razor controller
- Sweeney Karaoke! (I think someone mentioned that...)
- Special bonus level: Chase Toby through the sewers!
- Competitions to see who can make the fastest meat pie!
- Earn points with each kill, and then go shopping with them! Get some razor cleaning fluid! Or a new dress for Mrs. Lovett!

And also, I mean, look at No More Heroes. It's extreamly bloody and you kill the enemies by slicing through them with your Wii-mote, and as far as I'm concerned, the parents didn't have a field-day with it, so I think that a Sweeney game wouldn't be that bad.
EDIT: Then again, you don't play as a pair of homicidal, cannibalistic serial killers in No More Heroes. So yeah, they might have a field day. xD;
