To all who are not direct members of this Embassy, I say to you, "Hello, and Welcome to my humble Embassy!"
While your opinions cannot be counted inside these discussions, you are free to lurk about and watch the proceedings. I encourage you to NOT post inside any of our Offices, RP-Chambers, or other formal subforums or topics.
However, the front page and Guest Foyer are free for you to post in and create topics for. Until this Embassy ceases to be a "Public" Guild, this will be the case. If this privelage to you, the wayward Gaian, is abused, I will convert this guild back to "Private" status, and you may then only watch, being unable to post herein.
Do not be discouraged by this warning, though, as I ask that you name yourself here and state a small bit about yourself. You may choose to simply lurk about and would probably find the Directory to be a most valuable resource. While it remains a time of peace, all are welcome here.

Spiffy, please tell me that the Embassy isn't like the UN, and is more like NATO.
The UN sees bad s~~t happen, and ONLY talks, and then after two months sends 50 Canadians with pistols to a war zone, NATO sees an atrocity, get's their thumbs out of their a~~~s, and goes on bombing raids and to war with the offending party.

biggrin Edited for language, but aside from that, I plan on it being more like NATO. Our real strength lies in our alliances and friends. If one guild is wronged, what better help than 5 other guilds pitching in whatever they can? Also, we host wars. ^^

JordanBoorego If you want, I can host some made-up 'rebel' weakling guild to provide a practice target for the rest of you guys. Cause I'm probabaly now good enough to be on the gaian team. What is this place anyway? Ultimately, a place for Inter-Guild wars and treaties to be finalized and enacted. Alliances can be drawn up, wars declared, prizes given out, etc. Also, we help new guilds get up on their feet quickly, with no obligation.

I find this guild a good place for the more powerful Gaian guilds to talk on a common ground, without the constant threat of war.

How would inter-guild or guild versus guild wars work anyway? It sounds kind of cheesy. If there's a battle that is threatening a guilds privalges and rights, it will cheat all the way. And some guilds rp differently. I dont' see how it could work without a large team of rp judges telling who won what battles, with us the whole way.

Respect for possible future spoils of being an Embassy Guild, mostly. We will have understandings between the reasonable Guild captains, who are more usually than not more than willing to seek peaceful negotiations. If all else fails, we may have to abort. That will be a last-ditch option, though, as that would not see the rise of this Embassy anytime soon.

Terribly sorry. I gave this Embassy a "face lift" less than an hour ago, and have not had the time to finish hunting down the stray "ghosts" from the old layout. I'll ammend that at once, thank you for your input.
I actually think, also, that all of you Tourists will need another place to hang out. I'll address that as well.
