Cast of Non-Playable Characters

The following is a list of NPC's (Non-Playable Characters) who will grace us with their presence aboard the Grungy Galleon.

Only moderators will be able to use these characters and their use will be very limited as we want you, the players, to drive the storyline of the Galleon.

These NPC's will just add a little more flavor to the world and spice things up should things get boring. Also should we host events and the like, the NPC's will be used to keep the event moving along.

Captain Nikolai D. Blackbird

Not much is known about the Captain of the Galleon, save for the many rumors that float around the ship. Some rumors claim that the Captain was an infamous and fearsome pirate who ravaged the seven seas, causing terror and unrest wherever he went.

Other rumors tell the tale of a Captain who stood up to the Royal Navy and went out in the blaze of glory. How this supposed "Terror of the Seas," come to own the Grungy Galleon is a mystery.

The Captain himself is a recluse and never shows his face, let alone leave his cabin. Only the first mate and the head chef have ever seen what the Captain really looks like.

First Mate Mick Greysquall


Mick is the front man, director, and gracious host of the Galleon. He's friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He wants to see that a patron has everything, and sometimes anything, they need while they stay on the Galleon.

Mick has an eye for financial gain and sees the Galleon as a huge financial enterprise. Despite his friendly demeanor, Mick is no pushover and has no problem bearing his fangs should the need arise.

Skips - The Cabin Boy



Skips ... Skips is well, Skips. He's quite young for his age and is an orphan to boot. Skips was "adopted" by the Galleon, though no one really know how he got on the ship, or for that matter, how the ship got infested with cats. Skips means well at whatever he puts his effort into, he's just dense as a brick and doesn't know up from down.

The Crew of the Grungy Galleon


The Motley crew of the Galleon. These trustworthy sea dogs run the everyday workings of the ship. From navigation to swabbing the poop deck these scurvy rapscallions are on top of things to keep the ship running smoothly.

Head Chef Arthur Flambé


One of the infamous "Golden Seven," of the pirating gourmet world. His cooking is world renown. He can make the very best with the very worst ingredients.

He also has an eye for the ladies, willing to make "special" dishes for any cute lass that comes his way. Like any other artist, tread carefully should you want to criticize Arthur's cooking, for they have yet to find the last poor soul who spoke badly about it.

Sous Chef Michel Le Fou


Michel is the second in command of the kitchen and the apprentice to Head Chef Flambé. He's an enthusiastic youth filled with much potential and promise.

His cooking has been heralded as some of the best among the rising starts of pirate gourmet. If he wasn't so clumsy, that's what the critics would say. How he became the Sous to Head Chef Flambé is anyone's guess. According to Flambé himself, "He makes a damn fine soufflé."

The Kitchen Crew


The cooks, bartenders, bar wenches, waiters, hosts and hostesses of the Grungy Galleons magnificent Tavern. They are the gears that keep the kitchen running smoothly and at peak efficiency.

The Scurvy Parrots


One of the Headlining bands that play aboard the Grungy Galleon. Their music is upbeat and is more in lines with traditional pirate music. Their lead singer Merril McBride, always knocks the audience on their backs with crushing vocals followed by some darn nifty hornpipes.

The Salty Dogs


An up and coming opening act on the Galleon. Their sound is more somber and low-key. There isn't much known about the band but they hope to make a splash on the Galleon and take over the Headlining position soon.

Reverend Chumm B. Ukett


The Reverend has been around the deck a few times, sort of speak. He spends his time in the Pastafarian Chapel counseling the lost souls who have not been "touched." He gives wisdom and advice to those who need it, and the advice is sound, if you can decipher the riddles he speaks in.
