Local Legends There was once was a man who had lived within another realm. He had betrayed the teachings and laws of the realm and was exiled to a small cavern where he had died and turned into a grotesque beast of incredible power. He has been known to Summon creatures at will from his extreme rage and even had a beast almost equivalent to his strength born from his shadows. He lucks within the deepest shelter within this cave, waiting for his time to come.
The cave is found off the edge of Hidden Mist. Found by Bone two years prior, it was discovered recently by a group of excavators. But removing the seal over the door way was their first mistake. Creatures of all types rushed out, killing the excavation crew, devouring their flesh before retreating into the darkness... A place where everyone can relate to hell.

A roar would come from the depths of the cavern, cries of death would echo everywhere throughout the empty spaces of the cave. Monsters would start to form from little balls of light that were floating around like miniature comets without a sense of direction. Deep within the cave though was Omega, sitting with his eyes closed reciting an incantation that would bring back a well known spirit from a world that it had existed. The spirit, never good, nor evil, was better known as the creator of the Spiral of Death that crafts a living armor to control so it can travel throughout the world and destroy it all... But as of right now, Omega sits and chants while Ultima stands guard at the half way point to bar the path to Omega from everyone.

Floating Death: A flying ball of flesh and bone with a single eye. It is yellow in color and a single feather protrudes from it's head. It can launch a wave of energy to collide with the opponent. Black Element: A formless mass of pure energy that crafted a physical form from rock. The black rock flips over itself circling it's center, creature is a master of spells. Almost like a ticking time bomb, it can also use Firaga magic. Spirit: A physical manifestation of Pyreflies that takes the shape of a ghost with horns. It's doom ability is not safe to be around less you can defeat it quickly. Machea: A four legged beast with a tail that extends it's body length behind it. The sides of it's legs are bladed as well as excreting a poison. Master Coeurl: A tiger like beast that loves to pamper itself. Master of magic, it tends not to move very often and its Blaster is not to be messed with. Master Tonberry: The slowest of all the creatures here, it holds a lamp and a kitchen knife. Its karma attack is quite disturbing if you hit it not hard enough. Varuna: A devil like creature that has two Pyreflies circling around it all times. It mainly uses magic but can strike rather hard.

Akira Orimara, Kengan Gekkou, Valkyrie Mayonaka and Ichigo Ichazuki made their way towards the cavern. There were there on official business from Orimara Hanzo. This was a fact finding mission that could elevate to a full scale attack if need be. Because of that they were all armed to the teeth. They could expect backup possibly, but that backup would not be able to do much to alleviate their troubles since they were merely lowly gennin. Still it was better than nothing. Akira activated his kikuta eye as a full gray circle appeared on his pupils. It would soon be time to get to work. They formed a line with Akira in front and went inside of the cavern. Akira was in front because he would be able to see perfectly in the darkness that was within. Taking up the rear was Kengan who could respond quickly to anything that happened behind them.

Creatures were all roaming everywhere within the cavern, each merely looking for their own things. Whether they be ghost-like, encased in stone but still able to move, or crawling on all four, they moved around the cave. One, however, saw the group of four people and let loose a loud cry. Lizards started to appear all around, their teeth bearing a solution that could harden the joints of their victim if the teeth penetrated deep enough into the skin of it's victims. The beasts would slowly converge and soon, even when killed, would attract the attention of others.

 Kyoshou Kinuta...Kyoshou Kinuta, Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi, had been given a mission to clear out the vicious creatures that had begun radiating from the cave of Hidden Mist. Normally this S rank mission wouldn't be given to a Chuunin but none of the other sound ninja had the courage to undertake this task. Using the Cloak: Art of Omnipresence Kyoshou suddenly appeared behind the four Moon ninja recognizing Akira, the person he was matched up against in the Chuunin exams. He whispered "Hey guys. I came to back you up." but was suddenly distracted by the many lizards that had suddenly appeared all around them. Kyoshou made a double take back and fourth counting how many there were. He felt it was far too early to draw attention to themselves with bloodshed. Assessing that they were rather simple-minded creatures, Kyoshou began making a string of hand signs as he muttered " Instructor Genjutsu" With this technique the creatures should feel as though Kyoshou was there superior and were obligated to follow his orders in fear that they would be severely punished. Kyoshou stood up tall addressing each and every lizard creature as he said "I order you to return to the realm from whence you came and ignore that you ever encountered us." Hopefully the technique was successful and the lizards would leave them alone...for now. ...of the Twilight Sonata

There would be a sudden roar from deep within the cavern as the lizards started to back up. The creatures turned their heads in the direction of the sound and then turn back to the men that were there. They had started to advance once again, keeping their eyes upon their prey. One jumped towards Kyoshou, mouth open wide and claws held out, ready to grab on and bite it's target.

Kyoshou Kinuta... Kyoshou confidently laughed as he said "Haha! Thats right! You better run!" But his laughter was cut short as the creatures turned back to the five ninja and continued their advance. It seems their master could provoke far more fear than Kyoshou could. As the lizard leaped into the air, Kyoshou noted that the lizard's teeth were covered in a rather grainy saliva. Saliva like that was typically associated with victims who have been petrified. Kyoshou couldn't risk this. With one swift movement, he reached over his shoulder grabbing onto the hilt of the Kusanagi swinging it to try and decapitate the lizard. If the lizard avoided this, Kyoshou held out his free arm in front of his face as a defense. He really didn't want to deal with these lesser creatures. He was far more interested in defeating the creature that dwelled deeper into the cave. It seemed it was a rather powerful creature and Kyoshou wanted to test his limits. ...of the Twilight Sonata

As the creature was cut in half, no blood was shed. Instead, the two halves hit the floor and then disappeared in a flurry of small balls of fire that wasn't even hot to the touch. The other creatures hissed and croaked out in their voices before starting to advance. They were everywhere, front of them, behind them, on the walls and the ceilings. In the distance, they could see that this gathering have attracted some attention of the other beasts that were there. The lizards barred their teeth before they started to rush in.
((Just so you know, that are an infinite amount of these guys. Without someone there to perform a Sending [Which is not even known to our world], they will just keep coming back so it would be best to move and not stay around in one spot if you can help it.))

Kyoshou Kinuta... [[I figured. I just wanna rush in and defeat Ultima and Omega. I'm also curious to know more about Valefore.]] "Oh darn" Kyoshou muttered. With so many lizard creatures, it would be impossible to defeat them all. He turned to the four Moon ninja scratching the back of his head in an embarrassed laugh as he said "Well things are getting too close for comfort so Ima go fight the big guy. You guys can stay here and finish off these guys." With that he made a string of hand signs as he muttered " Flower Petal Escape" As more lizards dove at Kyoshou, he vanished in a cloud of lavender petals. Kyoshou would then slip deeper and deeper into the cave undetected by the infinite number of lizards. Hopefully taking out their master would get rid of everything. He made his way into another cavern that seemed relatively empty. Still grasping his Kusanagi, he stepped carefully. ...of the Twilight Sonata

Of course the lizards would not see him but there would be a new threat standing in his way. It looked like a sown together rag doll that looked like a shell less turtle holding a kitchen knife and a lanturn. It was slow moving but that doesn't mean it was dangerous. A lesson soon to be learned by Kyoshou. The creature was blocking a rather small passage way in the maze of a cavern it was, rocking back and fourth as the lantern's light would light up quite a bit of the cave around it.

(I know pretty much nothing about Final Fantasy, So bear with me if I don't know what something does)
Hurdy stepped out of a wall at the entrance to the cave, his new form never before seen by any ninja. Green Wall . He was much more rugged now, plants and vines of various sources hung from his Venus fly trap body. He drew two katana and slowly walked into the hallway, and walked forward at a comfortable pace. He slashed at anything that approached him, until the numbers became too much for normal swords.
He then Placed his swords back in their Grass sheaths, and Used handseals as the lizards aproached. Body Flicker. The jutsu propelled him forward, passing all at incredible speeds, until he came next to a kinuta facing a lizard with a lamp. "What is that?"

Akira whispered back to Kyoshou "Nice to see you, my friend." Akira saw all the lizards around him and felt that no matter how weak they were there was still the chance that they could be overwhelmed by the shear numbers. Akira watched as Kyoshou body blickered away and turned to Valkyrie and nodded. Valkyrie grabbed Kengan while Akira grabbed Ichigo. The pair of them body flickered away, following Kyoshou's trail. As they moved, Akira saw glimpses of the beasts that were in there. the rest of his team would have trouble working in a place like this, but Akira was having little trouble doing so.

The Lizards would grab nothing but air before landing upon the ground. Looking around, they sniffed all over and then started following the scent trail. It would be a matter of seconds, even if they used Body Flicker, before the lizards would catch them. The cave was filled with dangerous monsters of all types, these just happened to be one of the fastest there were in the area. Ahead of the group of four would be Kyoshou and Hurdy, having been stopped by a rather weak looking creature but one of the most devastating of them all.

Akira looked towards Ichigo watching the reptiles moving after him. Surprisingly, they were catching up to the group. Akira allowed for Valkyrie to overtake them so that they would be clear of Akira and Ichigo. Ichigo was given the title teamwork master during the chuunin exam. He knew what kind of attacks Akira had. He also knew what kind of attack Akira wanted from him. Simultaneously they started doing hand signs. Ichigo released his great breakthrough attack a strong wind style while Akira released his lightning dragon tornado attack to strengthening the wind attack. However he followed that up with a snap of his fingers which released a great flame that was only strengthened by the now strengthened wind attack. With that, they continued to move on.

Surprisingly, only a few of them would die away in a flurry of pyreflies, the name of the small balls of light. It would seem that the creatures scales were actually rather resilient against lightning as it would to many elements as well. The winds would slow them down but as it would die down, the lizards, injured or not, would then continue their chase of the four ninja, joining them would be a hovering ball of golden fire.
