I suggest continued light stimulation, even during the orgasm. One of my ex-boyfriends did that once, and my resulting orgasm lasted roughly 15 minutes.
I am really sorry to be the party pooper here but that is physiologically impossible.
Orgasms run betwen 3 and 8 seconds and include betwen 3 and 12 vaginal contractions. So instead of aiming for a longer "duration" of the feeling, it's good to aim to get the maximum contractions possible. As someone mentionned, continued rather fast stimulation during orgasm can lead to more contractions. Or whatever you find most pleasurable. Your partner shouldn't stop as soon as you get your first contraction. But really from what you write you indeed reach it, no problem there.
Also, a characteristic of feminine orgasm is that it is always very, very different. Some times you reach it and it is less powerful and only has a few contractions, some times if the stimulation is perfect it's much stronger and lasts a bit longer. Such is life X3
Those who think orgasm should last a few
minutes confound the plateau phase of sexual excitement with the orgasm phase. If you think orgasm lasts a long while, then you likely stay stuck on the plateau phase without knowing it. Here is a cool graphic I stole on some website to illustrate what I mean:

If you follow the
A line, you have the sexual response of multiorgasmic women. They are the ones who, after a first orgasm, can have another within a minute without going through the excitation and plateau phases again. It takes a bit of practice and yeah, some girls find their clitorises too sensitive to attempt a second orgasm so quick.
If you follow the
B line, you have the sexual response of women who can't reach orgasm. They stay stuck on the plateau for a while (at the maximum of excitation, right before orgasm), then their desire and excitation subsides. Those women may take a while to find how to relax and experience orgasm.
The
C line represents the sexual response of a woman who has just one orgasm. The excitation rises during the preleminaries, more or less regularly, then the activity comes to a plateau of pleasure of around 1-2 minutes and then it explodes in a release of the tension we know as the orgasm. This is what most girls our age experience.
So yup! Basically, fallinxangel, you have no problem at all!
wink The best way to really enjoy orgasm is to not stress about how it should be or feel ^^
I hope this helps!
