The guild clean-up is nearly complete. Some things may still need to be straightened
out, but bare with us, it''s alot of work to do. Please note the important announcement,
it contains some key information that I will not get into right now.

The guild system will be going down for maintenance soon (as in within the hour). They''re hoping to have it back up on Sept. 6th. All I can say is don''t hold your breath xD
EDIT: It appears that the downtime for guilds is postponed until Monday.

As announced by Lanzer, official testing for the Gaia Towns feature is
currently being done. Expect to see it released in about a week or two.

The GGN was down for quite some time, and in that period it has undergone
some minor changes. For more information, please read the Gaian Announcements.
Besides the GGN, you can get a sneak peak at Gaia Towns through the Train
Station in Barton Town. Many upcomming features involve combining the
Guilds Network with the Gaian Towns system, so there are alot of things
to look forward to on Gaia...for the time being.
Besides all that, you can now change the style of each of your posts, as
well as add some different "actions". I'm thinking this new coding is
what has currently removed the edit button, and is not letting me post
in certain topics. Hopefully that will be straightened away shortly.
Now that the guilds are back up and running, I hope you all enjoy
your stay here at the GNG!

The admins are updating the avatar system again, so avatar saving is
going to be down for quite some time. There has also been a new store
item update, including sets like rock groupies and hippies...too bad
avatar saving is disabled whee

I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, but the reason why we
couldn't post here in the News was because it was locked. Before, mods
could post in locked threads but I guessed they changed that.
I've figured out a simple way to work around that:
Unlock thread, post news, lock thread.
Rinse and Repeat.
So the temporary News Update thread is no longer where the
guild news will be posted 3nodding heart

I'm posting here to announce my resignation as Vice Captain and that I'll
be permanently leaving the guild. Things didn't turn out quite the way they
were planned to. I've passed my limits for the last time. I hope you all
enjoy wherever this guild is headed.

I've reposted and revamped the guild rules. Please read them over again.
Aria has in fact left us sadly. I'm not sure if I'm going to premote a new vice captian or not. Not yet anyway.
As I've said before to everyone, gaia is full of glitches right now. We're in alpha-testing mode, so I expect glitches through out October. If I'm not around much, it's because the glitches have gotten too much for me to handle.

Concerning Halloween at the GNG:
We will be hosting a Halloween event. It will run from Saturday, October 29th, to Tuesday evening, November 1st.
Before Saturday I will open a chat dedicated to Halloween. We'll have an avi contest for "best dressed" & "scariest".
As of now I have not thought of the prizes, but I'm sure by then I will have come up with something.
The polls for these contest will either open after:
A. A significant amount of members join
-or-
B. Sunday evening rolls around...
The polls will close Tuesday evening, around 2:30 or 2:45. I will then announce the winners.
You can in fact join both contest.
So far that's all I've got. If I come up with anymore, I'll post it.

Also, you can pick up trash again.
