It was another warm day and Kirgha had settled into sleep under the cool shade of an oak tree. Her sleep had been wonderfully appreciated after the long playful day she had had with Jasper in the hours before. Now she could rest, just her, no one else.. no one to bother her, or so she thought. Suddenly, she heard the high pitch noise coming from a yard or so away when Jasper let out his playful cries. She moaned, turning her body away from him but it was no use. Her eyes flipped open and she stretched, slowly standing to her feet.
"Jasper...?" She groggily stood, hardly knowing what was going on around her. She didn't understand how he could be so high energy all the time. She couldn't help but want to be alone on certain occasions but every time he was about he always had to have some sort of attention, mostly from her.
Yawning, her ears pricked up as she tried to pull herself into the waking realm.

Jasper grinned as he landed inches away from her face "Kirg, KIRG C'mon the suns up!" He rolled with the remains of the force used to travel through the air. Although the dragons of the isle where without wings a good thrust from a sturdy object allowed a decent enough time in the air without coming to a halt as your face hit the ground.
Pawing at her paws and nudging her cheek with his nose he was determined to have her up. After seeing the sun approach he'd already made plans, staying in camp was boring, he wanted to explore! "Lets play somewhere else... Kirg...." He nudged her again. "If we go now we can avoid Mama Lupo" a slightly deeper than usual laugh escaped from his maw as his comment was aimed only for his best friend.
Letting out a irritated groan Ripple crawled into her adoptive mothers arms, mumbling something that was barely audible but was along the lines of, stupid boys and how annoying said boy was. Curling up and nuzzling into the older dragons arms she let out a sigh, at least from here she could damped any noise she'd have to endure and only have a rare off chance of being forced to play.

Kirgha blinked, trying to shew the sleepiness from her eyes. She turned her head to the brightly colored dragon and frowned slightly. "But why do we want to avoid Mama Lupo?" She tilted her head. Her eyes shifted toward the brown blob that slept and she couldn't help but sigh, Jasper was always up to something.
"I guess..." She said at long last as she heaved herself to her paws. She was less than convinced though that it was a good idea, but at the same time she was sure that whatever Jasper wanted to do would be fun.

Jaspers eyes darted around the rest of their little camp of adoptive family, non of them knew whether or not they were related an Jasper had no care whatsoever. This was his family and he did love them well he thought he did but he'd much rather spend time with Kirgha she was playful like him, even on her off days she'd normally pay him attention long enough for him to find something else more interesting.
"Just 'cause! It'll be fun, promise?" He had a surprise for his friend he'd found a place the day before something a place that showed more of the isle than he'd never seen the likes off before he didn't find it very interesting but Kirg was a girl and girls liked pretty things didn't they?
Bouncing from side to side he grinned and made off east from their near beach camp, with quite a pace looking back occasionally to make sure she was following.

Kirgha sat down and scratched at her ear with her pack leg. One eye was squinted as she watched Jasper through it. He seemed excited about something, but then again, he was usually excited about the worst things. She knew that more than likely he was going to get her into deep trouble. "Oh... alright.." She grumbled slightly but finally stood up after satisfying her itch.
Seeing him bound off, she couldn't help but follow, slightly curious over what he was so enthusiastic about.

With great speed Jasper darted into the Jungle, threw the tree's around rocks and over branches and the odd snake. Excitement building inside, Kirgha wouldn't regret following him nope he'd done good this time he really wanted to share this with her, it fueled his usual energy and gave him such a boost he almost forgot to look back and check she could keep up.
"Too fast for you this early?" He grinned stopping only long enough for her to reach him. They were close now, even a slow walk would get them to the beginning part of the real challenge in a matter on minutes.

"I'm still half asleep..." A grumble lightly formed from her throat but she tried to shake it off. Yawning a few steps, she eventually caught up with him. "Do you ever sleep?" She couldn't help but ask, he always seemed to be so full of energy, before and even after she was asleep. She didn't understand that, it seemed that she and Ripple were much different from him in that department.

"Sometimes, when my eyes close and then I have dream things they're cool but playing is more fun! Besides you girls sleep soooo much." Chuckling they reached the base of a huge structure, it looks as hard as stone but seemed to be covered in grass and moss, wholes and dents scared the surface as it's age was obviously well beyond the two dragon pups. Lifting up his two front paws he bouncing of the structure to check it was still sturdy and solid, nothing moved when he poked at it so it all seemed safe.
"Now we go up!" He gestured his paw into the sky, where the sun had already reached half way to mid day.

As soon as they reached it Kirgha couldn't help but stare in awe. She stood there for a good moment, just taking in the scene before her when she heard Jasper tell her they were climbing it. "Uhh..." She immediately grew nervous. "I'm afraid of heights..." She mumbled almost incoherently. Frowning, she wondered exactly where Jasper had found the thing, and she somehow had a feeling she didn't really have a choice in rather she climbed it or not.

"Then I suggest" he grunted mid sentence as he took the first leap and landed his paws in various crooks and dents in the structure leaving him steadily balanced if not for the sway in his stance. " You don't look down!" A chuckle rumbled up from his chest and escaped his teethy grin and he took another leap, looking down eager for her to continue to follow.

"Jasper..." She whimpered as he began to climb, flinching as she looked down. "Don't leave me here... please? I don't want to climb... I..." Frowning, her ears bent back on her head as she stepped backwards, moving away from the climb instead of into it.

In the time it took him to blink he'd lept back down next to Kirgha and given her a puzzled look. "Why are you scared? It's not going to hurt us it can't even move!" Chuckle he pawed at her ear gently whilst the two where only a step up from the ground "I did it on my own, I know you can do it, just don't look down k?" With a smile that showed his faith in her, the sparkle of adventure in his eye and the encouragement he wished to give but had no idea how to express he nudged her gently.
"I'll even let you go first if you like!"

"I..." She frowned and whimpered, only slowly moving toward the rock as she looked back at him. She was thankful he was encouraging her, but at the same time it didn't stop her from not wanting to move up the structure. She shivered, her body shaking as she squeaked the closer she got. Turning her whole body, she clung to Jasper, hiding her face against him, mumbling lightly in muffled tones. "Help me... please..." She felt like a wimp. She had no desire to be one but she felt too scared to move and she knew she'd need his help to get her up there without freaking out. She wasn't him, things like this didn't come easily to her.

Jasper was waiting for her move when she spoke and changed course, where was she? OUF Why was she clinging to him? And why where those butterfly's trying to explode out of his stomach? With a reluctant peer down he looked her over, he hadn't imagined it she was shaking was she cold? He'd keep her warm like good friends where supposed to! Wrapping a paw around her he brought her in as close as possible with a satisfied and proud smile he whispered "I'll help... I'll keep you warm..." It felt nice to feel her fur against his, comforting and warm, he was a good friend, yup. But was it time to get back to her surprise now? He was enjoying being so good at his duties as a friend but couldn't help let his eyes wonder back to the high top of the structure.
