Come in and rest yer weary bones! This be the official Guild Cafe, where ye can hang out and chat "in character" with yer fellow guild members (and do a little light rping while you're at it.) The cafe is run pretty much by yours truly at the moment, but, as we grow I may end up hiring someone to help tend the place when I'm not on.
Anyway, we serve excellent vittles and our coffee would give Star Bucks a run for its money. We also have rum, too, for those of us who be pirates. Arr!
Note: Be sure to observe all guild rules while you're here. Other than that have fun and enjoy yourselves. Cheers! biggrin
NOTICE: The Cafe is now in the more than capable hands of melnoli (a.k.a. "Ruth" ) since I'm gonna be quitting soon. Just thought y'all should be made aware of that so there's no confusion. 3nodding

Ruth swaggered into the cafe and looked around for the barman. "Rum sah! D'yeh 'ave any rum?" She pulled up a stool and eyed the barman quizzically

The barman came forward, pouring the pirate woman a glass of rum. "Here ye go, ma'am," he said, placing the drink front of Ruth. "So what brings ye to these parts?"

Ruth downed half the rum in one gulp and grinned at the bartender. "Same ol', same ol' sah. I be lanlocked fer th' time bein' an' though' I'd stop fer a drink." She gestered around the establishment. "Looks ter be a fine place yer got 'ere. Speakin' o' which, 'ow'd you come ter choose a place like this ter settle in?"

The bartender glanced around, noting the lack of customers besides Ruth, and leaned forward. "So..." he said, trying to make conversation. "May I ask what else is new with ye? Or be that secret"

"No' much, no' much..." Ruth paused and grinned before continuing. "Or a' least, no' much I be inclined to devulge as a' yet." She looked around the cafe. "Be yeh usually this popula'? I'd heard tha' this were a fine establishmen'. Is there some manner o' secre' meetin' t'day we no' be privy 'o ay?"

The bartender started. "What in the name of--? Who be ye?" he asked the ghost, rubbing his eyes and trying to decide whether he was just seeing things or not.

The mystery ghost starts looking under the tables. She just puts her head through them. "Mah, you can rub yar eyes all ya want, but you should use a knife if yo want them out", the ghost says, "But I'm not here to give advices about getting eyes out of ya head, I'm looking for ma body. De one dat's lost... It should be in ma grave, but the problem is dat I don't have any."

"Öh... De last time I saw it... I think I was in it...", the ghost thinks. "But dat doesn't really help... I know I shoul hav started to look for it already, but I've been veeeery lazy. But now they have dat new game pinball, and I can't play it since ma fingers go through dat game machin"
