A Lost Love and Friendship

The day began wonderfully. The sunrise was beautiful, breakfast was great, the weather couldn’t be nicer, flowers were in bloom, and Eros was with his best friends in the world. Evelyn and Desiderio where out in the field looking at the flowers. Eros hung back trying to get his courage together. Today’s the day I ask Evelyn to be my mate He thought to himself. Eros loved Evelyn like there was no tomorrow but she didn’t know it yet. She was also his first and only true love. The three moonlits played together having fun like they always have since they were pups. There was nothing that could separate them, except one thing that would soon separate them. It was gettin late and Eros headed over to where his friends were. When he got there Evelyn walked away muttering that she had spotted a pretty flower. Eros gave a 'what's up with her' look to Desiderio. Desiderio shrugged not wanting to tell Eros how he and Evelyn felt. "It's getting late Eros. I'll see you tomorrow." Desiderio said. "Okay. See you tomorrow." Eros replied.

After Desiderio left, Eros went over to Evelyn. He sat down not sure how to tell her his feelings. He had noticed that she had been acting weird when she was around him and Desiderio. He was wondering what was up when she spoke. “Eros I don’t know how to tell you this but I-I found my true love.” Eros couldn’t believe his ears, she loved him like he loves her! “I love Desiderio, Eros. And he feels the same way. Can you believe it? After all these years we just fell in love. Oh it’s so wonderful.” Evelyn said blissfully. Eros couldn’t believe it. She loved his best friend and he loved her! How could this have happened? How could they be in love? Eros felt like Desiderio had betrayed him. “Eros, are you alright?” Evelyn asked noticing that his face had darkened and that he hadn’t said anything, “Well say something!” Eros snapped out of it and smiled. “I’m so happy for the two of you.” Eros said feeling hollow inside. He went home and their friendship was never the same again.

Eros saw the two of them later on, happily watching their children. He couldn’t bear seeing them together anymore and left. He wandered around heartbroken, unable to speak anymore. Instead he found a way to use telepathy to let others know what he wanted to say. After he had travel far away from his home, Eros stumbled upon a human named Blue. The two became fast friends and when he told her his story she said he would find someone he loved and loved him back. Maybe he thought.



Leaving the box that been his home since he had been born, a moonlit pup went outside to play. His parents had been out trying to find some food but the pup hadn’t seen them for a day or so. He was hungry but when he played his hunger went away for a bit. So here he was out in the grass playing with the butterflies. They were everywhere and all that he wanted to do was catch one. He laid low to the ground and when one would fly lower he would jump up and pounce. Most of the time the pup missed the butterflies but he got up laughing every time. One butterfly caught the pup’s eye, it was a pretty blue one. He began to chase it and soon he was far away from his home. When he realized how late it was he didn’t recognize any of his surroundings. He barked for his Mom and Dad but no one responded. The pup never found his way home or his parents. Instead he walked further away and soon was in the woods.

Now it was starting to get colder as the days passed. When the pup woke up one day there was white stuff on the ground. He sniffed it and his nose touched it causing him to jump back a little. It was cold! A few more days passed and more of the cold white stuff appeared. He found shelter in a hollow tree and found some food but he was cold and hungry most of the time. Then one day the white stuff began to melt a little. The pup ventured out to find some food. He wandered around until he found a clearing that was clear of the white stuff. He found some nuts to eat and ate a few of the plants. He yawned and began to grow tired. He laid down to nap and fell asleep.

The next thing he knew some thing tripped on him waking him up. The same thing started to sniff him which tickled. He looked around to find the cause and saw a pink creature and a red and white creature. They were like him. He turned around to get a better look and saw a human for the first time. He walked up to the human and put his paws on her leg. The human picked him up and petted him. The human talked to him and he wagged his tail. He then became uncomfortable and he wiggled around until he was comfy again. He began to whine to tell the human that he has no one, no family, no owner, nothing. The human just gave him a questioning look, not understanding what he said. Suddenly a voice filled his head telling the human what he had said. The human said something that for some reason (he didn’t understand her at all) made him really happy, so happy that he licked her face. She laughed and began to talk some more the only word that he understood was Scruffy. Scruffy wagged his tail and licked her even more. Later that day he would learn her name. Blue.

Roxas Comes to a New World

Just awaking Roxas opened his eyes and got up. He remembered that he had a strange dream although it was fading from his mind. He looked around and saw nothing but trees. He tried to remember where he was but he remembered nothing. He could only remember his name, Sora, and the phrase- the key of destiny. He looked down and saw that he was covered in fur. “Was I always furry?” He asked himself. For some odd reason he didn’t think so. He began to walk around exploring the area. Nothing struck him as familiar so he moved on. He continued traveling through the forest for several days, searching for anyone.

When he was giving up hope he found a road. He began to travel up the road noticing a field on the right. The further up the road he went, the signs of life increased. Finally he came to an old house. He stopped and wondered if anyone lived here. Just then someone walked out of the house and spotted him. The person froze and Roxas stood there trying to think of what to do. “Hey are you new here?” The person yelled, “You’re more than welcome to stay here, although it’d have to be in my room. I don’t know if Wolfie lets strange moonlits in the house.” Moonlits? Is that what we’re called? Why doesn’t she have fur? Is she a moonlit or is it just me? Roxas thought. “Uh… Sure I’ll stay. Why don’t you have fur like me?” He asked. “Alright then you’ll stay with me. Oh… I’m Blue by the way.” Blue said before his question sunk in, “Um I don’t have fur because I’m a human and you have fur because you’re a moonlit. A moonlit anthro to be exact.” So Roxas moved in with Blue and joined her other moonlits, which he discovered stood on all fours rather than two.

Roxas' Dream

"Sora" A femine voice calls. The world suddenly becomes colored as eyes open. "Whoa." A male voice that belongs to Sora called. He jerks forward being surprised at how close the girl was. The girl giggles. "Give me a break, Kai-"
The scene flashes to Sora, Kairi, and Riku sitting on a tree looking over the ocean during twilight. "If there are any other worlds out there, why did we end up on this one?" The silver haired boy called Riku asked.
The scene changes again this time to a stormy night. Sora is racing towards the raft and runs into Riku. Riku offers his hand to Sora. Sora runs trying to stop him but is stopped by darkness. The scene shifts again and this time Roxas is surrounded by three people. One is a girl and the other two are boys. They were in the hangout and talking about clearing their name. "Uh...well... We could find the real thieves. That would set the record straight." Roxas said. "Hey that sounds fun!" Replied Pence. "What about Seifer?" Hayner asked. Roxas stands up and Hayner crossed his arms. "First, we gotta clear our names. Once we find the real culprit, everyone will get off our backs." Roxas said.
The scene fades and a new one appears. In this one Roxas is chasing a strange creature that reminds him of Mnemosyne. He chases it through a forest until he reaches an old mansion. "We have come for you, my liege." Roxas hears this in his mind, "Huh?" Suddenly the mouth zipper on the creature opens and it attacks. Roxas fights back but nothing works. "It's no use..." Suddenly the sword swirls with a data, "What?", and becomes the keyblade. "What... what is this thing?"
The scene shifts once more as Roxas attacks the Dusk. This time Roxas is in a white room with pictures lining the walls. Namine is sitting in a chair at the table. Before this scene can play Roxas wakes up.
"Those weird dreams are back." He said sitting up. He had been taking a nap on Blue's bed. The sun was setting from the looks of it. He looked around and saw Mnemosyne. She was watching him with a curious expression. "What?" He asked. "Nothing. Just listening to you dream." She replied, "So figure anything out? Or what I remind you of?" Roxas stared at her as a picture of the creature popped into his mind with its name. "A nobody or rather a dusk."

Issac’s Little Adventure

Shortly after everyone fell asleep little Issac woke up. He quietly moved away from his godmother and guardian. Once he was away he looked around and saw that everyone was asleep. He stretched and then sat down. There was no one to play with! He frowned then smiled. He could go exploring! He looked around the kitchen and shook his head. This place was no fun. He stood up shakily and took several shaky steps. As he slowly walked around he spotted a door that had a bunch of little holes in it. He made his way over to it and sniffed. The air was so fresh and smelled so different. He looked around for a second then began trying to nudge the door open. It opened after a couple of tries and he slipped through. The door fell back with a snap that made Issac jump. That was loud. He looked around and noticed some steps that lead down to a bunch of green and brown stuff. He slowly walked towards the steps and looked down them. How would he get down? He moved one of his front paws towards the next step and ended up tumbling down all of them. He landed on the ground sprawled out. That hurt! And was not fun at all. He shook his head and stood up. He smiled as he looked around. There was soo much to discover.

He was still looking around when a small butterfly landed on his nose. He crossed his eyes to look at it and barked in delight. The butterfly took off for a minute but flew around Issac. He jumped up and down and then began to chase the butterfly. The butterfly led him away from the house and into the woods. Issac was still playing with it when he heard some noises coming from a tree. He stopped and looked up. It was a squirrel that was making the noise. He stared at the squirrel in wonder and it stared right back. After several minutes of staring the squirrel moved and went out of sight. Issac whined when the squirrel disappeared but it soon reappeared. Issac jumped and barked happily. The squirrel began to run but stopped to see if Issac was following. It wanted to play with him! He began walking after it but he wasn’t going fast enough. He tried to walk faster and soon he was trying to run. However he kept falling over. After several falls the squirrel gave up and left. Issac whined to himself but stopped when the butterfly began to fly around his head. The butterfly was still here and wanted to play!

Issac stood up and followed the butterfly to a clearing where there were loads of butterflies. He stopped at the edge and stared in awe. He then yipped and jumped into the clearing. He played with the butterflies for a long time. He jumped and chased and barked and yipped. He had so much fun. He laid down after he had finished playing and smiled as the butterflies flew around him. After he rested he stood up and looked around. He was quite thirsty but he didn’t see any water. The butterfly he had followed came up to him again and he followed it. It led him to a small and shallow stream. He walked over to it and began taking a long drink. He paused and looked at the water and took a step closer. He ended up slipping on the mud and fell into the stream. Fortunately the water was shallow and didn’t even go up to his head. He climbed out of the water and shook himself. He was still slightly damped and his paws were all muddy.

The butterfly flew around his head again and he followed it once more. This time the butterfly led him back home. Issac barked his thanks and climbed up the stairs. Going up was easier than going down. He did have trouble with the door but he managed to paw it open. He trotted back towards his family leaving a trail of muddy paw prints. He stopped and laid down when he was able to see everyone. He ended up falling asleep there instead of by his godmother.




It was a beautiful day at Blue’s cabin except for one thing, Fiorenza’s children, Kuoni and Mikey, were missing. Fiorenza got into a huge fight with Kuoni causing her to run away. Mikey had been there for the beginning of the fight but has left when he grew fed up with his sister. He hasn’t been seen since. Fiorenza was heartbroken for she had lost 2 of her children as well as her mate. Enigma helped Fiorenza search for Kuoni at first but sent her home to search alone. He didn’t return because he didn’t want to face his love without their daughter.

Several weeks had passed from that incident bringing us back to this beautiful day. Fiorenza was outside lying on the porch. She didn’t look all too well but much better than how she would look in the coming days. She was watching the forest edge in hopes that her broken family would reappear. She was nearly asleep from this dreary and boring duty when something black caught her eye. It couldn’t be, could it? Was it her dear son, Mikey?! Her eyes grew wide as her son walked into the clearing towards her. She leaped up and ran down to him. Tears were in her eyes as she ran to him. She was so happy to see him. She was about to nuzzle him when she drew up short. Something was wrong with Mikey. He was glaring at her and did not look happy to see her. “What’s wrong Michelangelo?” She asked deeply concerned. “Like you care,” He scoffed before sneering, “Mother.” He suddenly looked furious before he snapped his teeth in her face. “I know now that you’ve never loved me. That’s why you only looked for your precious Kuoni. I don’t see why you didn’t just dump me off in the woods to die when I was a pup.” He growled taking a step towards her. “W-what do you……?” She stammered taking a step back, “I looked for you too. You’re my dear son.” “LIES!” Said another voice.

Fiorenza watched in horror as Agrona walked out of the trees to stand by Mikey. “Don’t listen to her my son. She’s only trying to fool you.” Agrona said, “She wants to injure your poor heart even more.” Mikey nodded as he glared at his real mother with sad eyes. “That’s right. I won’t be tricked by this imposter any more mother.” He said looking to Agrona. “I think it’s time she felt your pain.” Agrona coaxed with an evil grin. Mikey nodded and then crouched down ready to spring. He leaped at Fiorenza with teeth slashing. Fiorenza was frozen as Mikey attacked. He bit her ears and scratched her body causing her to scream in pain. Vipin, Rudolf, Aisling, and Aludra came running out of the house. Vipin froze on the porch and watched in horror as his favorite person and best friend attacked his grandmother. Rudolf, Aisling, and Aludra stopped for a minute before racing off the porch to go help Fiorenza and stop Mikey. Leaning in close to Fiorenza Mikey whispered, “I think I’ll kill your precious daughter when I see her next. Then you’ll really know my pain.” Agrona grabbed Mikey and dragged him off to the woods before the others could stop them. Fiorenza collapsed to the ground laughing and crying. Rudolf, Aisling, Aludra, and Vipin gathered around her worried about her wounds and mental well being.

Coming Soon: The Birth of Vardin!

It was a day unlike any other. Love could be scented in the air and cupids could be clearly envisioned. It was Valentine's Day and this one would be a very special one for a young male. He had been searching for love for a long time and finally he thought he had found the one. Carwyn straighten the little bow tie he had found and looked in the mirror. He looked okay... no he looked handsome. He had to have confidence. His mother told him he had to have confidence otherwise he'd never find a girl. Girls didn't like guys without a spine after all. He sighed and picked up the bouquet of flowers he had gotten earlier. Hopefully his goddess would like them and would say okay to going out with him.

Straightening up he took the flowers out of the small room he shared with his sister. She was off breaking some other guy's heart. He knew since she had told him before leaving this morning. He mentally shook his head to get his thoughts back on track. He had to leave the little house that had been made for his large family. He didn't see any of them but it made sense. Fiorenza would be off with Enigma and all of the others would be off with their mates. He smiled to himself thinking how he would finally join their ranks of having a mate.

Exiting the little house he glanced around. It was sunny and there was only a slight breeze. He smiled again. Surely the heavens were giving him a sign that this was the right choice, that everything would be fine. It didn't take long to walk over to Blue's cabin, a few minutes at most. He entered through the kitchen and glanced around. No one was here. His tail drooped a bit. Perhaps she wasn't here at all. She did say she liked to go out and see all of the lovers out and about. He stuck his head out of the door and looked down the hall. There she was! His beautiful goddess was right there on the couch. He ducked back into the kitchen to gather his wits.

He was taking several big breaths when the door open. "Who's there? I thought I heard the door open?" Aphrodite asked walking into the room. Carwyn paled and turned around glancing up at the blind anthro. "I-I-It's me. C-c-carwyn." He stammered. He quickly felt a wash of shame. He couldn't even speak right on this important day! Aphrodite had turned her head towards him and blinked. "Carwyn? What are you doing here? I thought you'd be out there trying to sweep some lady off her paws." She said with a smile. Carwyn shook his head and raised the flowers up to her. "I....I am trying to. Here are some flowers for you. I hope you like them." He gave her the flowers and nearly melted at the smile she gave him. However Aphrodite didn't catch the fact that she was the lady he was trying to woo. "Why thank you. The smell wonderful and I'm sure they look great. I'll have to get Blue or someone to put them in a vase." She carefully made her way to the table and set them on it. She turned when Carwyn cleared his throat.

"Uh... Aphrodite... I was wondering if you would..... be my valentine and go out with me!" He had closed his eyes and spoken quickly. When she didn't respond after a few minutes he slowly opened his eyes, "Aphrodite?" Aphrodite was sitting down and staring at Carwyn. She was using her ability to see his emotions and saw he did have the shades of red that represent love. "Oh Carwyn... I'm so sorry but I can't go out with you. I don't like you that way.... I mean I'm not the lady for you. She's out there somewhere, waiting for you to find her. Besides we're not exactly the same species. I'm an anthro and you're just a regular moonlit. Carwyn... Carwyn!" As she had spoken Carwyn's eyes had filled up with tears and his heart broke in half. He was soon fleeing the cabin listening to her cry out his name. It wasn't like she would follow him, she rarely left the cabin without someone to help her see.

He soon stopped in the woods and cried his little broken heart out. This was the worst Valentine's Day in the world. But it did do something for him. It strengthened him and soon the resolve to go after his love, his goddess was born. He'd become an anthro for her and show her that she is indeed the lady for him. He hadn't felt this way about anyone, all of the other times he had fallen in love his feelings had never been this strong.
