Hey. Here you can tell people the silliest or most interesting thing that you or someone else has ever done with an instrument! For instance, if your band director threw a drumstick at a lazy trombonist last year (he missed), post it here!
I've not done this yet, but I plan to take a picture of myself wearing a sousaphone... then animate it firing lasers like the Death Star. xp

as far as interesting goes, I HAVE tapped out a dent or two using my mouthpiece as a hammer...

Well... one of the percussionists in the band got a drumstick stuck in the ceiling. XDDD I'm not sure how the janitor managed to get it out - the ceiling to our band hall is really high. sweatdrop
The tenor guy I like and his friend, a trombonist, used to steal my flute from me freshman year. xp They'd take pieces out of the case, too. x.x;; They don't do it anymore... at least... they haven't recently. ninja

I put my french horn on my head (I put my head in the bell) and dance around. My trombonist friend also does this with his trombone. We usually sing roll out the barrel.

Umm...well in sixth grade, one percussionist in our marching band accidentally broke the snare drum when he heard the director say that if you break the drum, you are almost playing loud enough. He didn't get that it wasn't literal.
My friend once threw her clarinet across the room at the wall when she got frustrated with it. It wouldn't play for her. After she retrieved her instrument, she realized that she hadn't put the reed on right and that's why it wasn't making a sound.
And don't try to pretend you are the drum major and start twirling your flute or clarinet. It doesn't have pretty results. xp

I like to take my quads, turn them upside-down and throw random((but soft)) things in the drums.

my horn has a screw-on bell, so, it's not really a funny action, but i can truthfully say that i've screwed my horn. xp

My band director had once been walking around in some place and was carrying his trumpet mouth piece with him. Someone attacked him and he hit the guy over the head with his mouth piece and knocked the guy out.

One time I took the mouthpeice of my saxophone and put it on the body without putting the neck on first. It looked like a weird gold mutated clarinet or something. I tried to play it, but it just squeaked. xd

Thanks to one of the word 'f*****t''s definitions (which is bassoon, by the way), I often proudly declare that I have fingered my f*****t that day (transaltion: played bassoon). Only with my music theory class though, because we all looked at othet erms for musical instruments together and laughed at them. blaugh

Oh, I remembered another one. Putting baby power or glittler on my quads durning practice makes for some good visuals.

My friend took her clarinet once and pretended it was a paddle and that she was in a kayak. O.o
