The long empty throne, the people wish, hope, and pray, but these go unanswered. These were the dark times, the absence of Toleranth perhaps worse then if he were killed within plain sight and known to be dead. Where in the world could a massive dragon go and not be heard from. As the debates rage on, the daily routine never changes, commerce never stops, flowers still bloom upon the graves of the dead.
Seasons come and go, the land changes, the old wounds scar over, but as magnificent as Dragonfall City is. The people are missing something, their king, foolish, yet brave, compassionate, and a large source of inspiration. Everything changed on a dark night, a moonless night, nither gods, nor eyes of man, of any beast would see it at first, but so soon would they hear it. Upon the plateu plains came a mighty roar, rattling windows of nearby houses, sending horses of the night travlers into fits, and livestock to stampede.
On this dark night a brave man, a fearless man travled out in search of the cause, his latern held high to see before him, and his sword close to his chest to defend him. He came upon a sight, a glittery tree, and looking up to the top the lines were not that of a tree, but of a dragon. He bowed in respect and queried of the dragon. "You let out a mighty roar sir dragon, and I have come to aide in whatever manner." Toleranth smiled; "I have announced to the people of my land that I, King Toleranth, will sit upon my throne once more."
The man needed no further proof, he dropped on one knee and bent his head, and spoke with a choked voice. "My heart leaps with this news my lord, and let me be th first to welcome you home." Toleranth lifted his large and and with the point of his talon he ever so gently raised the man's head to look up. "Return home and rest, you have done me a great service, and from this day forward you no longer bow to me as a subject. You will salute me as a equal, and join my court if you so choose to accept the honor." The man stood up and Toleranth set his hand down to support himself once more. "I will rest the best I can, but I will travel to the city at the first light."
Toleranth pushed the doors open to his hall, and walked past the stunned servants polishing the metalwork. Sitting upon his throne he waited and soon the flood of people entered, mostly servants he passages he walked through to get where he was, and he looked upon them with a smile. "I require two messengers of man, six of my own kin, and someone willing to write the messages and duplicate. There was a small commotion and two well toned men stepped forward, and a servant with several pieces of paper sat upon the floor ready to write.
The six messenger dragons arrived still muttering disbelief, until they saw with their own eyes, and Toleranth reguarded them rather harshly. "There was a day when i called for my own kin they would be at my side within 3 minutes. You six are charged with going seperate ways and announcing what is about to be dictated to every king and queen in this world. You two men will travel to every outpost and village within my borders and spread the same message. Draw upon my stables for swift mounts."
Toleranth looked at the servant and spoke rather clearly; "People of the world, king toleranth has returned to his throne, and should you accept my return please send word back to me."

The servant finished the orginal and began to copy for the others, and other servants handed them to the choosen messengers.
(well i do like grand entrances, and i was writing all day so i had to go overboard. However, my absence is highly inexcusible, and I leave it to a vote if you wish me to return or not. the poll results are final, and will run for 30 days.)

It is highly inexcusable, but my lord, *bows* It has been so long since we've properly role played and talked that how could I possibly refuse you. You are after all my king and lord. (Though John contests you for the latter). Hopefully this time we can get a story together that all will enjoy and keep everyone from going their seperate ways again.
I have missed you, my King.

She has issues when it comes to intergrating characters into RP's, not to mention she has personal issues to which I am not at liberty to discuss without breaking a trust agreement. That and she has the hots for my characters....i say that because she would more then likely openly admit it anyways.
however, why do you sound so jealous Lady Akuma. If i didn't read it any better i would surmize you wish to take her place at my side.

Ilyssa: Yes but the age difference Mindy, the society they live in nowadays is not what we are accustomed to in our setting. They frown upon such age differences.

Ilyssa: to protect fragile hearts of glass, the old sometimes don't understand the young, and the friticion caused can shatter hearts in the heat of different opinons.
Sorrow: Tolly is a big softie, he wouldn't do anything like that to Lady Akuma. If he did I would cut his throat.
Ilyssa *laughs* you could try Sorrow, but remember he carries the pen that creates us. He can surel use it to destroy you just as easily.
Vermillion: Tolly should be careful, his words can become very leading and dangerous to the fragile.
Mindy: Vermillion,that is precisely why we are having this discussion, as tolly sits and thinks on what to respond with we are trying to influence him to do the right thing.
Vermillion: Interesting enough were employing the opinons of a temptress, a wife in the story he writes, and a destroyer of lives. Boy i can't wait to see what advice you influence him with.

Sorrow: Well you did ask Lady Akuma if she wished to take yami's place at your side.
well she does enjoy many of the things I like to do, she is not afraid to speak her mind even to me or other memembers of authority, and all around a perfect queen.
Ilyssa *smiles* well if that is how you feel then go for it. Just beware she might not think the same.
look y'all, i'm not stupid, but tolly probably would be alright on his own. However, allot of things are easier when you have a woman's point of view backing your own. Besides no character should go through a plotline completely alone, they should always have a companion they can trust and return to in times need.
Mindy: sorry i think i misunderstood

Well yeah, you don't se him plotting to overthrow my control of him. he just goes witht he flow.

Mindy: *slide up to Lady Akuma* queens are treated very nicely, they get great rooms, servants, whatever they want to eat, and a king all at the drop of a few words saying I do. this being fictional roleplay, hence why i'm talking to you, there is no strings attached, the one and only marraige you can walk away from.
Sorrow: *picks mindy up and heaves her into a lake* cool off will ya, jeeze, cut the girl some breathing room you dealer of lust. Maybe tolly would try to kidnap this pretty princess from the boards and haul her away to a tower where no one could save her.
Ilyssa: *burns Sorrow to cinders* No he will be nice and act like a gentlemen, following toole's example, and listening tothe little adivice his femine side provides.
*whips out magic pen* I will do things like Lay Akuma says and you all get erased.
Ilyssa: Damn
Mindy: blub blip blub blub blub
Sorrow: ...........this really frigging hurts ilyssa, how am i supposed to fight if my a** is a pile of ashes?
Toole: "rolls his eyes and packs his bag up to return to the proper thread he came from* You ladies take care now
*grumbles* yeah they always are getting in the way and messing up a good thing arent they?
Ilyssa: Well i was only going to use a love enchantment on her, maybe one night of solid passion would turn her towards you

its not that, its their meddling in affairs that should be best left alone to my own devices.
As to my erasing them, eh, they will get over it, and i would like for one of them to take it without permission just once. just to watch their little ink bodes swell up and explode all over the paper.
if they were successful in taking the pen, well then we would just run away to vegas.
