AIM RP Log - Felyn & Lethrossen
Aibisho & Chonda

Aibisho growled quietly to himself as he drug his body out of the underbrush, shaking his fur out in an attempt to get rid of the burrs that clung to him. How was he supposed to know that there were thorns in the bush there? He cursed under his breath, moodily looking over his shoulder as if he was sure the little hare was mocking him from its thorny haven. He hissed, stomping his foot, and glanced away to the horizon. He was growing more and more restless here with his mother, with her constant demeaning, and his pushy stupid sisters.

"I need to convince Dhoof to leave," he muttered under his breath, tail thrashing as he sat down and began to pluck the stinging thorns from his fur. They itched and scraped and just generally added to his horrible mood. He'd like nothing more than to be able to prove to his mother he could do something worthwhile - but hell, he couldn't even catch a stupid little rabit!

His sisters' taunts came back to him and he shut his eyes irritably. He and Dhoof, they were going to leave, and going to leave soon.

Chonda shifted uncomfortably as she walked awkwardly over the grass of the pridelands, her brown orbs wide as she took everything in. Xui Xui had left her here, with a promise that she would come back. Chonda was beside herself, thinking it very unfair the lioness had brought her to such a strange place! Grass... small trees.. even water! Much more water in these lands than the vast desert.

She took a deep breath and sighed, a small frown flicking on her face as she shook her fur off and started to move faster over the earth, trying to ignore the strange prickly feeling of the grass below her feet. She was hungry and a bit afraid, though she'd never admit that to anyone. She froze with one black tipped paw raised as her ears flicked up, her eyes looking frantically around.

She'd just heard someone, but it was a foreign voice. The moment of panic passed and she berated herself before putting a scowl on her face. She moved forward, and stopped dead yet again when her eyes landed on a bright colored male, one whose colors reminded her so much of a home she never cared about. "And go where?" She asked, thinking that was what he said. Something about leaving.. Xui Xui had mentioned this being a pride, after all. Her tone was neutral, neither curious or bored. It was simple question with no emotion behind it, privately she was greatful for running into another.

Aibisho's eyes shifted up quickly, tail lashing behind him as they settled on the girl. She looked a lot like him, which only reminded him of his mother. A slight sneer spread across his maw at that thought, not wanting to remember the lioness that was constantly telling him how much better his sisters were. He was worthless to her, and she had made it clear more than once in her favoritism. He didn't need another girl poking her nose in his business - they were nothing but trouble.

"None of our business," he said with a hiss, narrowing his eyes on her and pushing himself back onto his feet. He shook his body again, making sure he had gotten all of those annoying burrs out. He flashed his tangerine eyes back up at her, staring for a moment, trying to figure out why she was even bothering to talk to him. "Why would you even want to know what a stranger is doing?"

The calm expression that lacked emotion slowly crawled into something of dislike and disgust, he dare talk to someone from the firekin in such a manner? What a rude little brat.. she'd only asked a question! She knew it had been none of her business but... little prat.

Here she thought she would be getting a reprieve from her loneliness in such a strange land, instead she got a... what was he pulling out of his fur? She wasn't entirely sure, but they didn't look nice. "Never mind. Dirty little boy.." She hissed before stalking forward, toward him, to go past him. Her own tail was lashing now, but she felt slightly hurt. It stunk, this land. Her first foreign meeting, besides Xui Xui, and he was nothing but a spoiled brat! "You don't seem interesting anyhow." She spat, her voice a mixture of annoyance and something else, perhaps a bit of the hurt she was feeling and perhaps loneliness.

"Who the hell are you calling dirty?" he growled out, turning on her, fur bristled and teeth slightly bared. He put up with all that crap from his sisters, from his mother, and he certainly didn't have to put up with some stranger that thought it was ok to mind everyone else's business. It wasn't his fault that she had to come be nosey, hadn't her mother ever taught her to mind her own damn business?

"If I didn't seem interesting then why did you bloody start talking to me to begin with, princess?" he sneered, his anger dying down to a simple, cold mocking glare. He watched her walk past and out of sheer irritation, he slapped at her tail as it lashed behind her. She could prance all she wanted and he wouldn't care.

She was going to ignore the little twit's comments, until he called her princess. And then he batted her tail! The ignorant fool.. he didn't know anything and he was touching her! She snarled as she turned, one paw darting out to hit him in the face. "Don't you dare call me that, you dirty, dirty grasslands freak!" She spat out, having half the mind to pounce him. She was not a small cub, that was for sure.

"If you don't want me in your business you unfriendly brat than don't you dare go asking me about mine, okay?" Her brows raised at this, as if she questioned him but her tone implied she was more or less telling him how it was. "I could probably kill you in seconds so don't get smart with me.." She growled, her eyes flicking over him to prove her point. That was a completely rediculous notion, but she couldn't help making it. "Do even know what a red pelt means? I am sickened to see you own such a color in your linage... you should be sleeping with the slaves you scum bag.."

As her paw connected with his face, he jolted, letting his head hang as it was hit for a moment. With the black tuft hanging down over his brilliant eyes, he took a deep breath. Then, tossing his head so he could peer at her, he let those bright eyes narrow on her form. "I don't know where the hell you come off calling me a freak, girl, but look around you - you're the bloody freak here." He sneered, spitting in the grass at her feet. "This is the grasslands, which makes you the outcast." Hell, he didn't know where she was from, but she wouldn't be calling him names if she was from here.

However, at her notion of being able to kill him in seconds - he only laughed, and laughed hard. He put a paw to his belly as it rang out, shutting his eyes, amused beyond reason at the notion that she could possibly kill him in seconds. "Yeah, I know what my red pelt means," he said finally, opening his eyes to look at her, "it's proof that I'm related to my b***h of a mother." Although, her mention of slaves made him grit his teeth, and it was only his mother's words that kept him from wanting to strike her back at this point. "I don't know who you think you are, but here, in these lands, there are no slaves."

She tensed up, her eyes not daring to move off of him as he said to look around, as he stated she was the freak in these horrid lands! She looked like she could be his sister, and he was saying such a thing? (She was such a hypocrit) He didn't know jack, she could fit right into these lands if it was full of fools like the one before her!

Her eyes burned with fury and her fur puffed up at his laughted and she suddenly lunged herself at him, claws out. "Yeah, think it's funny?" She hissed, firekin were never known for playing nice after all. "Little rude... thing! No pride in such a royal color and obviously they should do something about having no slaves... you certainly belong as one!"

Too bad for the girl that she didn't realize what an outcast even he was in these lands. Red coats were feared most often, because they were connected with those of the firekins - a pride no one wanted to run into. Here the colors to be were brilliant golds, beautiful yellows and he didn't have one bit of that in him.

He let out a growl as she lunged at him, wreathing at the last moment to twist away and move out of her grasp, though her claws grazed his cheek and drew blood. He sneered at her, shaking his head, "this color isn't royal, you little b***h. Golds and yellows are the colors of the royals here, and that makes you just as worthless as me." He was poised now, in case she decided to lunge again, but his eyes blazed with fury. He was worthless. She was worthless. His mother was worthless. This color was a curse.

She grunted as she landed, stumbling slightly as she turned awkwardly to face him once again, claws digging into the dirt and her eyes narrowed. Good, at least he was bleeding!

If she was angry before it was nothing as she felt now, complete rage at hearing such nonsense! She hadn't even minded the name he called her, she was just chocked completely that this color would be considered worthless. "You know nothing!" She finally breathed out, so heavy with anger she thought it would choke her. She could not even get up the nerve to attack him... had Xiu Xiu really brought her into such a land?

He could feel the sting on his cheek, feel the blood trickling through his fur. He'd hear it from his mother later, he was sure. Maybe she'd appreciate him for not striking the girl back. Maybe she wouldn't even care that he was bleeding at all. He'd go to Baala - at least she was a bit nicer to he and Dhoof.

"How do you know it's not you that knows nothing, eh?" he gave her a cold smirk, almost a sneer, and with the gash on his cheek it only made him look even crueler. "You're the one in a foreign land talking all this nonsense about fur colors and slaves." He huffed lightly at her, resisting the urge to put a paw to his cheek. She could make him bleed, but she couldn't make him acknowledge it. Damn it, it still hurt though.

She really should go! She wish Xiu would come and just knock this boy right off his feet the arrogent little fool. "You obviously don't get my way is the right way and this land is full of barbaric little morons who don't understand anything." She short back, her temper dying slightly. "Your mother has obviously taught you nothing." She sneered back, though she could say the same words to herself. Her mother was hardly ever around, she had always been the lone child wandering by herself.

"I know quite a bit more if you can only related the color red to being related to your mother.." Was his mother also from this land of golds and tans? "Where is she from?" She suddenly asked, wondering if perhaps he was from the firekin blood.

"I think that you're the barbarian, sweet heart, or maybe you just have a stick up your a**," he said with a shrug, eyes narrowed and cold, but his heart was fluttering with rage. Who the hell was she to barge in here and start talking about how they were all barbarians? "My mother.." he trailed off and shook his head. His mother was none of her business. He didn't have to explain the complicated relationship they had, or the confusing notions he had in his head over who his mother was to him.

"She's not from wherever you are, 'cause her head isn't full of silly little lies," he said irritatedly, sitting down slowly, and simply watching her. He didn't have to leave - these were his lands. "She was born and raised here, daughter of a king, and more important than you could ever hope to be." Although, he didn't mention that his mother would also probably berate him for talking to a female this way.

She hissed, she was getting so frustrated. What a stubborn little idiot! "Trust me, there's a difference between a savage warrior and a barbarian.." She sneered, though why she would call herself something like the first was questionable.

"And the mere fact she was born to such over populated lands is dull and who cares if she was born to a king?" Xiu had said something about over populated.. right? She hoped that was the case. "You are worthless, your mother is worthless and these lands were worthless." Too bad, she would have liked to meet his mother if by some weird chance she was from the firekin. She didn't know what else to say to the boy, she hated him.

She decided she could find someone else to keep her company, even if it meant roaming around such a gross, foreign place. She sighed softly as she turned away, her paw jerking up slightly oddly at the first few steps she took. She tried to picture the hot, smooth sand that was once the only material underneith her paws. She shut her eyes as she did so and took a deep breath, it was much better. She began to walk a little more normal like this.

He sneered at her as she walked past, fur bristled and his jaw set tightly. He wanted to tell her that she was the bloody barbarian, after all, she was the one that had attacked him first. But of course, that meant that he'd have to draw attention to the fact that he was bleeding. He was doing a good job of ignoring it and not drawing attention to it, he didn't need to ruin that now.

"If they're so worthless, why are you still here?" he called after her, pushing himself up onto his paws with a growl on his tone. He might as well get ready to go back and face the music - somehow he didn't think his mother would like the fact that he had angered a female enough to make her hit him. Maybe he could just blame it on Dhoof. Where was Dhoof?

Turning his back on the bratty little fem, he lashed his tail once and began to trot off in the direction of 'home'. It wouldn't be home much longer, and then he could leave these lands, and idiots like that girl behind all together.
