Martin swished his tail as he trotted along the woodland path. It was such a beautiful morning, he couldn't wait to start his day. He had planned all sorts of things earlier, but now he wanted to put them into action. Maybe he would stop in the clearing by the old stump and check for any new plants that may have sprouted up over night.
Martin's hooves rang in a pleasant clip clop as the trail became a little rockier. He slowed down to a walk and nibbled at a low hanging branch. The leaf had a pleasant refreshing minty taste to it. Martin ripped off a few more and tucked them into the sash around his waist.
He continued on, hoping to see that the little spring had enough water in it for him to take a nice long drink and maybe rest a little before heading to the clearing.

Liebe's gold and brown mane and tail danced elegantly in the wind, just enough to make them pretty and flowing instead of just windy and unkempt. She extended her neck and shook her head from side to side, trying to wake herself up, and stretched her wings out from her side. She imagined them creaking; she hadn't moved them since she had nearly passed out from exhaustion the night before, her mother giggling by her side.
Glancing briefly at her surroundings before she set off for the day, Liebe thought long and hard about her goals for today's adventure. Should she hike up the narrow, rocky path towards a great scenic overlook of the valley? Or should she attempt to find Darkfire, a rather nasty Unikalona she had attempted to become friends with?
Deciding to let the day pass by without incident was out of the question, but Liebe wanted to relax for a bit. Well, at least until she had fully woken up from her long, restless slumber.
"Hello, Papa Robin," she called out in a sing-song voice to a robin singing in the trees, trilling high and making her head ache. "You'd better not wake up Mama; she'll come chase you off," she added cheerfully as she made her way past the tree.

Martin halted for a moment and pricked his ears, a curious expression on his face. He had thought that he had heard someone call out. He waited a few more seconds, his ears flicking back and forth, trying to hear if there really was someone else out and about.
When he didn't hear anything else, Martin shrugged his shoulders and continued on to the spring.
He whinnied in satisfaction as he saw that there was enough water flowing in it for him to take a drink. He bent down and took a nice long draft from it.
