Hello there! I noticed that we don't really have a thread for such a thing yet and, since a new member suggested it, I though: Why not?
So, if you like to share with us a picture of you or the area where you are (whether it's visiting or living), then go right ahead! Try not to make the pics too big or the page is probably gonna take too long to load; that is if you posts pictures directly though. You can also post a simple link to where the picture is like, a photobucket account or a myspace account for example. That way the thread won't take too long to load. This should be especially helpful for folks who don't have fast internet connections.

Nice pic! Is that thing yer wearing made of denim? I don't like wearing things made from denim myself. Go figure, eh?
I think this way of posting pics (with links) is far better than having the actual pics posted cuz the page doesn't take forever to load. 3nodding

Hey Gornwen! That's a really cool picture. I just love that... that's a castle, right? It looks really good with all that vegetation in it. I bet that visit to Istanbul was great. Congrats! Oh, so it IS denim... I thought so. mrgreen Ah Berz, you and yer silly costumes, he-he. BTW, here's one I took of the "Water Volcano" near where I live. Yep, that is the Roman Castle, if I recall correctly... it is the European half of a pair of matching castles. Oh gosh! Istanbul is one of my favorite cities!
Water Volcano? Why that name? (I definitely was expecting to see an underwater volcano.)

Gornwen: I have no idea why they named it that way. I could find out for you if you wish though... Ha-ha! Underwater she says, good one! I must confess that when I was little, I thought the volcano erupted water instead of lava and hence, the name, ha-ha! Fauxlorne: He-he, is there any wonder why I like you Faux? Still, you don't want to see me smiling, I took a pic with me smiling and I looked awful. If you really want to see it though, I guess I could upload it to my account. sweatdrop Oh and btw, I was just being serious. I know I like being silly but that's not always a good look for me.
