has anybody ever read Tamora Pierce's books? i've read five of her quartets: The Song of the Lioness, The Immortals, The Protector of the Small, The Circle of Magic, and The
Circle Opens, all amazing books, i haven't read any of her other books, though, couldn't get into them sweatdrop

Oh my god, is Tamora Pierce a great writer or what??? She has the best heroines I've ever read about.

Hmm... Well she has a newer book out in a series called Beka Cooper, which is great by the way. The actual title is Terrier. It's about a girl training to be a sort of police officer in Tortall. (One sentence summary, sorry!) I think she's continuing it as a series. (I hope she does)

Two of her better books are Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen. They're companion books with amazing plotlines. You'll probably enjoy them if you've already read the Song of the Lioness quartet and the other quartets.

I'm sure your local libraries have these books. They're in all sorts of bookstores like Barnes and Noble's and Borders too.

I've read the Circle of Magic quartet and the first of the Circle Opens. I would have read more, but someone stole them from my local library. It made me so mad. She is definatly one of my favorite Young Adult authors.

I've read Protector of the Small which was really good and the Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen but I've never read any of her other books.
From what I've read she's a pretty great author.

I've been reading them in order. The Song of the Lioness quartet, then the Immortals quartet, then Protector of the Small, I am on Trickster's Choice now. They are an amazing series. Especially if you read them in order each series just builds on the last. I've been borrowing them from a friend, they are quick reads, she would bring me a new one each day. It maybe why I'm on the 13th so soon.

Lioness
Immortals
Protector of the small
Tricker's Choice
Terrier

These are the tortall series

I love her view on women and their bodies and how she thinks that as long as you are in love and are safe then it should be ok for you to share your body with someone. What you do with your body is between you and the Goddess

One of my favorite authors of all times. I love her books I've read all of her books that I can find. I've re-read some so many times the spine or cover is falling apart (the mark of a good book xd ).

She is a good author just not my cup of tea. I read some of the circle books (not sure if it’s the Circle of Magic or the Circle Opens). Kept me entertained until I got what I wanted.

Tamora Pierce is an amazing author, one of my favorites actually. I love all the Tortal books, but I couldn't get into the Circle series. One of her newer series is about the character Bekah, and is really good. The 2cnd should be coming out soon. So I'll just be waiting and twidling my thumbs until it comes out^.^

I've read pretty much all of Tamora Pierce's stuff. I really liked all the Tortall ones.
The Will of the Empress was a really great one. That's like the story of the kids from the Circle books. It's after the Circle opens and they reunite, but have grown away from each other and severed their magical bonds. They are invited by a northern empress to visit her palace. It goes on from there. I think it's pretty good.
