Both were taken on Christmas day. My Nanny in the morning at my parent's house and my Papa in the afternoon at the nursing home he's in. I keep wondering what makes them look so pensive on Christmas...

I think that I prefer the black and white instead of color, it looks better for some reason in my opinion.
I like the photos.

The first set, both look pretty nice but I prefer the moodiness of the B&W.
The second set, the color is awful in the color image. The B&W image removes the sallowness and all-over golden tone to everything, and the image looks cleaner.
