A brown stallion with a long mane and tail layed in the grass by a bunch of trees. He looked around at the skys above him.The sun was just setting and the animals around him were settling down.Soup stood up and shook himself off,to get the leaves and grass off him and out of his hair.He took some steps to streach a bit. He'd been laying there all day wanting something to happen. But all day long he just watched the birds and bunnies go past him.Nothing really happened today.

She, unfortunately, knew well of days filled with nothing but rolling scenery and sunny skies. Nevertheless, she was always quietly intrigued about this world away from home, away from frozen peaks and whipping winds. There were certainly more creatures here to interact with, both good and bad. She stepped lightly across the plains, the ghostly hue of her vivid eyes currently fixed on a more wooded area. She would be grateful for the shade, her thicker coat making the sun a little uncomfortable. Ohh, it seemed like winter had gone away too quickly for her tastes. As she approached, she could distinctly make out another enjoying the shadows cast by the towering oaks, giving her head a small shake that sent her reigns jingling and nickered in greeting.

Soup looked around sorta enjoying himself. He noticed the mare and whinnied at her in hello."Hello.Who may you be?"He bowed a bit.He awated for her to give her name. She seamed like a nice mare to what he has seen.He stood back up and smiled at her."My name is Soup."

Oh! Certainly wasn't shy, was he? Curious, the unicorn allowed the key that dangled from dove-grey lips to fall, suspended just above the golden clamp around her left foreleg. What a curious blend of colors he was; browns and whites and tawny hues... "Good morning." She greeted softly, dipping her head in a small bow before shifting slowly closer to huddle within the shade. "I hope you don't mind, though there seems to be enough shade here to share." The corners of her lips curled up faintly, wistful for a time where the sun had been hidden by snow-thicked clouds. "I am Feryal." Came the pleasant reply, her tail flicking absently here and there. "A pleasure, Soup. How are you?" Ahh, small talk... It'd been a while since she'd have the privilage to meet another, and she was glad to shake off her cloak of isolation for now.

Soup watched the key drop from her mouth and to her leg.She was very beautiful. The secenary on her sides.Very pretty. He nodded to her a little."I don't mind at all.I wouldn't mind to share."He walked over in the shade again. He watched her a little."Nice to meet you Feryal.I love the name.It goes with you."I'm very well. And yourself?"She sorta seamed like a princess or something rather. He didn't mind the small talk at all.It was much better for him to understand anyways.

Compliment after compliment... She was, of course, flattered, ducking her head modestly while her eyes gleamed with amused pleasure. Was he teasing her? Goodness, she was too old for that. "Thank you. You're very kind." She meant that. Then again, nearly all of those who'd she'd met here had been nothing but pleasant, and Feryal was grateful that some of the younger generations could still be so polite to a stranger hailing from the mountains. "Hot, I'm afraid. I've never quite gotten used to these hotter seasons..." Feryal laughed quietly. "Do they... bother you?"

He smiled some at her."Not a problem."Soup watched her a bit more.He looked around. It was hot?"Hot?"He blinked a little at her and smiled."Does what bother me?The Heat?Or other Soquili?"He was a little confused at her last question.

Ah--she obviously hadn't been clear. Her ears flickered a little, as though going to pin back with embarrassment before she chuckled softly. "Other Soquili...? Ah, I meant the heat. Have others troubled you?" A concerned, almost motherly tone had entered her soft tones. That wasn't good, but unfortunately was also to be expected. Many beasts roamed these lands, or so she'd heard... Kalonas and Skinwalkers, just to name a few. It was a truly frightening thought.

Soup tossed his head to get his mane out of his face.He looked at her.Oops! He'd forgot that she had asked him a question."Not many.I Really haven't met anyothers out of the Teepee. What about you?"She seamed sorta concerned for him.He watched her a little with his brow raised. He turned a little and sneezed.Soup laughed a little."Blush me."

A teepee? "Are those...two-legger dwellings?" She ventured tentatively, vaguely recalling the strange, upright shapes that smelled of hide. "I've seen few. I've lived by myself up in the mountains for many years." She'd been coming down more and more often, as it were, but no strong attachments had been forged to any other Soquili yet. Loathe as she was to admit it, Feryal found herself feeling awkward in conversation and often like she was making a fool of herself. She much preferred to hang back and observed while others conversed. "Bless you." Came the absent, unconscious reply when the male sneezed, and a faint smile curled at her lips.

Soup smiled lightly."Yeah?"Soup listened to her."Actually its nice to live with the two leggers."Soup watched her some and blinked."Thank you thank you.Would you like to change the subject?"He whiped his snout on his leg and looked at her.He smiled lightly at her.
