He had been waiting for it for most of the day. The clouds had started to roll in earlier that afternoon, getting darker and darker... It was just a matter of time now before the storm started and boy was he ready for it. There were few things better than racing through the rain; than feeling your heart pound every time the thunder cracked, jumping each time the lightening crashed. He could feel the static in the air... Now all he had to do was wait.

Rock Candy, the most gorgeous Soquili of all the land (or so he felt), ran through the fields on a stormy day. Hopefully it wouldn't rain before he made it to shelter, he never liked it when the sun wasn't shining on his body. It made him feel less important in the world, but he had to remember that it wouldn't be long after the storm before the sun shines again only for him. Unfortunately for Rock Candy, his body grew a bit exhausted after running for a while. Taking a quick break, the unicorn stood panting as the storm clouds approached.

He heard the thunder of hooves echoing alongside the thunder in the sky; the thunder of hooves that were not his own. Brow lofting he tilted his head, holding it high as he caught sight of a rather lovely... Shaking his head his brows lofted a bit further. No, that was definitely not a mare, unless mares now sported tufts of hair on their chins.
A slight smirk curved his lips as he moved towards the other. "What are you running from?"

A dark stallion had unexpectedly approached Rock Candy, a situation he was far too used to. Of course one would approach him, especially in a storm. He was a beautiful sight amongst the dreary background, why wouldn't another stallion or a mare wish to be near his own radiant magnificence? "Running from? Oh, you mean just now? To be honest, I was running from the storm. I never look good after a storm, my impeccable body does not need to be rained upon."

His brow lofted a bit further at that. "Never knew rain had that much of an effect on how someone looked. Do you change colors or something? Or does it muss your hair? It's never done more than make mine a bit damp..."
