Bagheera the Panther from The Jungle Book = The Persian
X3 C'mon what other weird Disney Characters relate to POTO?
This is in no way to be taken seriously. I just love my old Disney flicks too much.

OMG. I was watching The Little Mermaid II with the kids I was babysitting yesterday, and in it, the FAT maid's name is CARLOTTA. And, the prince's name(although I don't really think it's appropriate) is Eri(c or k)!

The Beast = Erik
Belle = Christine
Gaston = ....Evil Raoul? xD
I was watching Beauty and the Beast the other day, and if you think about it, it's a lot like Phantom...It's almost kind of better. Because if we compare Gaston to Raoul, he dies in the end and Christine/Belle ends up with Erik/Beast instead of leaving him! surprised

I think PotO is better than Beauty and the Beast. Maybe that's because I tend to like sad stories. And when the Beast turns into a normal person again, I was kind of...blegh. It would have been much better if he had stayed a beast. Erik stayed deformed so he rocks.

Alexis Of Shadow I think PotO is better than Beauty and the Beast. Maybe that's because I tend to like sad stories. And when the Beast turns into a normal person again, I was kind of...blegh. It would have been much better if he had stayed a beast. Erik stayed deformed so he rocks. exactly. the fact that Leroux's PotO doesn't have a happy ending, but a more realistic one (pretty girl goes with rich ahndsome titled boy, not ugly, tragic protagonist. huh. rather like hunchback, ne?) is part of what makes it great. Not sure about the phantom. I want to say The beast from beauty and the beast, but I think that might be to cliche.
