I was on wikipedia looking up some information on something to do with Nickelodeon. I stumbled upon the scariest TV show ever produced by any station: Are You Afraid of the Dark? Man, that showed scared the crap out of me when I was young. Perhaps that's why I'm not scared by horror films, with the exception of It.

...there's no such thing as good horror anymore...it's all about seeing how many people you can chop up in an hour and a half and how many sequels you can make before you start losing money emo

Bah! Half the time it's not even all that creative xp they use overly cliched "weapons" and ridiculous half-plot lines talk2hand ...i mean, I wouldn't be half as offended if they put a disclaimer on the front that said "Hey, we had a cool million to blow on special effects but we forgot a decent screen writer, so this is mindless violence without a decent story behind it." ...but no it's always "thrilling edge of your seat violence! lololol!!!!1!" *eyetwitch*
...and on to my second point...they rarely venture out of the expected with weapon choice...I wanna see someone get belt-sanded to death! whee ...or get their head chopped off in one of those office paper-cutter things...or buried in a concrete coffin up to their necks and dropped off a plane into the ocean...or have someone take an icepick and...well...i'm not gonna go into that... but yeah..

eek here's a thought...you can work a camera...we should make a movie! xd we don't even need actors...just convince a few freshmen that they're gonna be famous ninja

I have to disagree. Yes, all horror movies have the same plot, but it's no longer about the gore. I'm sorry, but I'm desensitized to death and blood. Give me more. Almost every horror movie centers around sex nowadays because.... Why? They think that since we're desenitized to death, we should include sex?
