I know I haven't posted really(ok this is my first post) But I was wondering if I could get some tips on how to pull a hammer off. I've tried looking at videos and such, though I still can't get it. I'm trying to learn how to do a hammer for Howie Day's Collide. Any advice would be helpful thanks =D

Basically what I do is do a slight "bend" with the finger im pulling off, accentuating the note and increases the sustain, which is how people who legato alot can keep the notes going strong.

Lol I laughed at your video. And I wanna thank you for your help. You too Rircyn. I believe in the song a hammer is used but I'm glad I know what a pulloff is. I'll have to try it out on my guitar and see how it goes. Thanks again =D

pull off's are fairly easy....
all i do for them is pluck the string with the finger that im taking of the string
as for a hammer on, just press down the string really hard to get the sound you want
thats basically what i do
