I wanted to start a debate on the benefits and evils of alcohol because so many people seem to be completley against it. I wanted to know that thoughts of the guild members on this subject.
I drink, not often but when I do I tend to get a bit wasted. But I don't get drunk enough that I do irresponsible things like get some random girl pregnant or something like that. I drink alcohol because it helps me to have a good time, it helps me to just get away from my stress-filled school days. But some people hate alcohol completley, they think it's stupid to drink at all. But if you drink in moderation, and don't do anything stupid, then what problem is there?
What are your thoughts guild members?

If I drink, it'll only be a glass or two, I never drink to get drunk..I don't even get tipsy. But there isn't anything wrong with drinking in moderation as long as you don't drink in moderation every week...cause that defeats the whole meaning of "moderation". I don't see why people need to drink to have a good time..why you can't just go out with your mates and have a bit to drink and have fun without getting totally sloshed. Those who get sloshed spoil it for everyone else because they always make a scene or do something violent or lewd, which is why I don't go out very often...it's always spoilt by some loudmouth drunk.

I don't drink often, and when I do drink it's always a fruity drink. I don't like the flavor. >.< Though I've never had enough to be buzzed.

Other notes, it's expensive for the better stuff. It's healthy if you do a shot or so of hard stuff every day...it's a diuretic, so make sure you keep hydrated, and it's a depressant, meaning it'll make you sleepy.

Over here, they have part time jobs and just spend the money on drink lol
It IS cheaper to get a carry-out but sometimes it's more fun to actually go out to a bar. But going to an off license and then just hanging out at your mate's house is good fun too, me and two of my friends were hanging out at my house and my friend Kevin and I were both getting a bit drunk when I decided to stick on Call of Duty 4 on XBoxLIVE and talk to random people, it was great, I actually made a friend lol

I was just surprised because I was drunk and playing COD 4 and making a complete idiot of myself, I didn't expect anyone to think it was funny. I expected them all to hate me (which makes me sound like a jackass but I was drunk at the time so I didn't care).

Yeah, this relates to alcohol.
I was at a kinda double birthday party last night. My friend had booked out this tiny bar and I (while enjoying myself) had WAY too much to drink. I was quite sick when I got home and this morning when I woke up I felt so sick that I was afraid to move.
It was pretty stupid of me I know. But my main point is that there was someone else at this party who got drunk and ruined a few people's nights by behaving like an idiot. THAT kinda stuff is what I'm really against in terms of alcohol, whenever you start pulling crap that annoys people or ruins their nights, then you shouldn't have started drinking in the first place. I'm just really annoyed at the person in question, and also annoyed at myself for getting so sh**faced that I was sick.

I usually do, I just went abit mad that night which is why I'm pissed at myself. One of my mates actually said something nice to me and I can't remember it. How idiotic of me. Next time I'm definitley gonna take it alot easier.
