Affera sat in the grass picking flowers. She only picked the pink ones, and every now and then she would lift one to her nose and smell it. Sometimes the petals would tickle her nose and she would giggle contentedly. Once she had enough pink flowers picked out, she tied the stems together and made herself a pink flower necklace and placed it around her neck.

 Stripes found himself in the Lover's Valley not really intending to go there. He was just off looking for something sweet or something fun to do. He was taken back when he saw another Niva. A female and very pretty.
Slowly he walked over to her. Stripes didn't want to bother her. "Um, hello I'm Stripes"

Affera looked up when she heard a voice. "Hi!" she said smiling sweetly, her eyes sparkling. She twirled her paw through her pink hair as she spoke. "I'm Affera!" She stood up and extended her paw out to him. "Nice to meet you!" ^_^

"Nice to meet you. You are pretty." He said without thinking about it. THis was the first female Niva he had ever met. Stripes didn't know you don't normally come right out and say something like that.
"What are you doing? I was looking for something sweet and I found you." Stripes chuckled as he sat down.

Affera giggled. "Thank you! You're cute!" she twirled her hair and batted her eyelashes at him cutely.
She looked down at her necklace and then held it up to show it to him. "I was making this. Isn't it pretty?"

Stripes blushed a little. "Thanks. Oh, that is pretty. Are you a princess?' he asked as he looked at it. It reminded him of his "crown". "I'm the King of the Candycanes." He chuckled and bowed to her. It was a game he played with Claud.

She giggled some more, loving the idea of being called a princess. "I guess I am a princess!" She grinned at him and reached up and touched his hair playfully. "Candy canes huh? You look like one yourself!"

Stripes chuckled. "Well, thank you Princess. Who better to be the king then me?" He did a small twirl to show off his candycane-esque coat. He then sat back down.
Stripes wasn't sure what to do next. "Um, can I stay with you a while? Or am I interupting?" She was all alone and maybe she wanted to be that way?

"You are the Candy Cane King!" She clapped and giggled as he twirled. "You're makin me hungry too! I love candy!" ^_^
She bent down and grabbed his paw and held it with both of hers, "Of course you can stay with me for awhile! Let's do something fun together! Okay?"

"Yeah, I'm hungry too. Do you know of anything around here?" Stripes smiled as she took his hand. She was very warm and it felt nice. "Um...ah, yeah let's find something to eat..." He said as he smiled again.

She smiled, still holding on to his hand. "Ok! What do you want to eat?" She looked around, but all she could see was grass and flowers. "I don't think there is anything to eat around here...we had better go somewhere else to find something." She thought that maybe they could find a field or an orchard of some kind to find some yummy food from.

Stripes nodded. "Yeah. Maybe with sugar these flowers would taste good." He chuckled and then winked. He then stood up. "Which way do you think? All these flowers smell so nice it's hard to smell anything else." He then sniffed the air and flowers were all he smelled.

Affera blushed a little when he winked at her. She giggled and tugged on his hand a little. "Everything tastes better with sugar on it!"
She looked around and wondered which way they should go. "Let's go find some sugar cane! We can make a sweet treat out of it! But...I don't know which way we should go..." She held her free hand up and touched it lightly to her lip, like people do when they are thinking about something. Of course part of this was probably just to look cute.

"Does it grow around here? I only see flowers here? Does it have flowers?" Stipes hadn't really looked for food. He had some candy canes and things left over from Christmas. So, he didn't know what sugar, before hand, looked like.

"Hmm....I don't know!" She said, and laughed a little. "I've never seen any. I've just heard of it. But...I think it's tall and green and looks like grass. Only...maybe it's thicker? So, we just have to look for something like that."
