So my school has a week until the opening night of our original musical and I'm pretty excited to see it go up. So I was wondering if anyone else in this guild is a theater kid and if so what sort of crazy things does your school do for theater? And for those of you who aren't into theater I suppose I could ask you like to do instead. Sweeeet.

My school is lame when it comes to events.
We find out about them after they were canceled.

ooooooo I'm a theatre kid! both of my parents worked at Arena Stage in DC when I was little. I'm not very good at acting and I'm too lazy to be a chorus member in our schools spring musical (though I was practically stalked to audition). So instead...I'm in the pit orchestra 3nodding cellos rock!

...The Theater and Drama teacher at my school is weird. Not even kidding. One time we were looking for something in her office and we found a flask. Great example for impressionable kids, isn't it? Our school is now moving to more of film than theater....Kind of sad.
