Hmm. Toughie!
I like the old stuff because its more rock than the new stuff. The new stuf fis still rock, but the old stuff was closer to metal. I like the new stuff too because of the lyrics and arrangements.

It Also Depends on what Kind of Mood im In..
If in a Real Party Mood..I love There Older stuff..
But if im Upset..Or in a Lovey Mood i listen to
songs Like Far Away And Saving Me.
Im curious to see what they realise next

Well, im really not sure.
I couldnt decide, It's nickelback, I LOVE
Whatever
they
bring out, the new CD just shows that they are still going, and still able to come up with modern stuff that is still fabulous.

I have to agree with everyone else, but I also have to say they need to release the more harder stuff as singles as well (Even though Animals is ANYTHING but soft rofl ). Sure 'Side of A Bullet' was released, the radio station I listen to only plays it on the webstream, but the DJ's say it's freaking awesome.

Hm Id have to say overall I like their newer stuff better.
Their first few albums were good don't get me wrong... but to me it seemed like they weren't completely comfortable yet, not in their line of work. So with the passing of each album they progress and create better music each time. Better, more heart felt, and common day lyrics. Harder guitar rifts and better drums each and every time.
Im basically saying I love watching them grow with every album.
