Her limbs were shaking. That couldn't be a good sign.
Between the dizzy spells and the growing weight in her belly, Hai couldn't pinpoint the source of this new malady. Her head was hung low in her weariness, and dust turned her normally green pelt into something she wished she could crawl out of. Yet, she still walked, placing one paw ahead, and pulling the body along with it. She'd been walking forever it seemed. Every step had been a trial. Walking used to be so easy. What happened?
Oh yeah, HE had happened. Hai winced at that memory, emotions flaring up into both parts anger and shame. Why had she decided to pick on a God? She turned her mind away from it, though. It was too painful, and if she focused to keenly on it, the Voices became much, much louder.
Hai didn't even notice that the lands she walked through became gradually greener. Soon, she'd left the Rogue Lands all together. Still, even with most of her awareness turned inwards, the sound of running water caught her ears, and she managed to perk up. Water! Thirst suddenly raged within her like a hot wind, and Hai summoned the energy to trot towards the blessed sound.

Watery green eyes opened as she heard the approach of another lion, her gaze lifting to see whom approached. She looked behind her as if to check for someone, only to remember that she had asked her mothert to watch over Ghilt today. She let out a soft sigh and relaxed as the female came in to her line of sight. She trusted females far more than males, though those of the pridelands eh felt deserved her trust any way and although she had never seen this female before she was within the lands so she must belong here.
"Hello." She whispered her pale head nodding to greetthe oddly green lioness. Why was it she seemed to be meeting odd coloured lions of late? She shrugged away the thought and waited for a reply her features calm and mild.

Hai was so intent on the cool sound of water that she nearly missed the black and white lioness lying beside it's source. However, as soon as she was aware of the other's presence, she froze, heart beating rapidly. Was it? No. It wasn't Him, and it was a female. That allowed Hai to relax slightly and her heart rate slowed, though as the adrenaline drained away, she began to shake visibly, exhausted.
"Oh. H-hello." she replied, attempting to will her limbs to steadiness. The sound and sight of the water behind the lioness drew Hai's gaze like a magnet, but there was something about the lioness that was ringing alarm bells in her head. It was the decided lack of the longer fur on top of her head, that meant...
"A Pridelander?" Hai said aloud, stunned at how far she had traveled. But this meant, she was intruding on their territory. Shouldn't she leave? She should, but the water held her there. Hai was torn.

Radi tilted her head softly, those pale watery green eyes fixed upon the female before her. "Please, don't be frighhtened." The pale lioness smiled softly ehr voice calm, quiet, relaxed, she was usually so shy around other but this female seemed so afraid. "Please, drink your fill, don't mind me." She smiled serenely though she shifted in to a slightly more relaxed possition her gaze turning away from the otehr femme, hopefully to make her feel more relaed, she knew how unnerving stareing could be.
"Oh Yes, you are in the pridelands, but don't be afraid I'v never seen anyone be hurt here." She whispers her gaze turning once again to the other female, her gentle calming smile never faded from her lips as she waited, she didn't want to disturb the other lioness too much, she seemed very highly strung.

The utterly relaxed and calm demeanor of the other lioness is what eventually gave Hai's muscles and sinews the ability to slip into motion again, rather than anything she said. Cautiously, senses split between the lioness and the stream, Hai inched her way to the edge of the water. Had water always had a smell? It smelled of growth, and green things. Sparing one more cautious glance at the other female, Hai forced herself to lap slowly from the stream. Too much, and she'd become water-logged. She was also afraid that the God's curse might have effect.
So, far from slaked, she made herself leave the stream, and looked back over at the Pridelander.
"Um, thank you for the water." she mumbled, avoiding her eyes. She hoped the other didn't notice her stomach. Mostly she'd ignored it, but she'd watched it swell. Ironic how the size of her belly had grown with her hunger, instead of the reverse. Hai tried to laugh inwardly at the irony, but instead she moaned aloud, legs giving way to exhaustion, and sank to the ground.

Radi got to her paws in a hurry when the other dropped to the ground her pale form shifting quickly to the strange green females side. "Are you okay?" She whispers noting the other females 'condition', "Can you move? You should try and come in to the shade. The heat out here will kill you." She puurrs lowering her head to nudge the other gently. This, to say the elast was a big leap for the shy, small lioness, she felt so much sympathy for the other whos form seemed so decrepit that she was letting her fears escape her.
"Please, let me help you, you'll hurt yourself and your babies laying down out here." She smiles gently offering the other lioness hope, which shimmered brilliantly behind her watery gaze.
