"Don't step on a crack or you'll break your mama's back~!" Lucy exclaimed in a sing song voice as she skipped down the sidewalk to the local zoo. SHe was constantly begging to go there and Rein had figured why not. Even though, she was saying so, she made sure that she was stepping on every single crack that was in her vision, causing her guardian, who was walking several feet behind her, to wince while doing so.
"Uhh, Lucy, do you really to break your mother's back?" The woman was hoping that the girl would say no.Rein tilted her head curiously when she saw the pink-haired toddler shrug her shoulders a little.
"You're not mama..." Lucy says causing Rein to frown but the girl didn't seem to be finished with her sentence. "That's why it's okay to step on cracks..." Her eyes light up with delight and she pointed up ahead. "Look! Look! THERE IT IS!" She exclaimed happily.
Rein smiled as Lucy quickly grasped tightly onto her hand, pulling her to walk faster. "Alright, alright!" She says and began to half walk and half run over towards the ticket booth.

Kiarei smiled as she cradled the baby in her arms. Today she'd be taking Kagome out of the house to visit the zoo. Looking around, it took her awhile to spot the ticket booth. She went over to stand in line behind a girl with a pink-haired child next to her. "Hello." She said politely.
Kagome looked up with interest in her eyes. She reached out her tiny hands to try and grab the pink hair of the toddler. She'd never seen such colorful hair before. "Uwa..." She mumbled something not-comprehensible.

Aoxy held a small baby in her arms with enough force so that he didn not somehow manage to wriggle away and cause chaos. She looked ahead of her in the line to spot a few other women who seemed to have the same idea that she had. "Keep your hands -and the flames- to yourself." She whispered, but received only a playful giggle in reply. Somehow she doubted that this would be as calm and enjoyable as she'd hoped. Maybe if she was lucky, she'd have a few hours before they kicked them all out.

Lucy was happily humming to herself as she watched the small exchange between Rein and the woman behind the ticket booth. The young girl beamed with joy when Rein presented the tickets and was about the say something when she felt something or someone grab her hair.
"Hey you!" She exclaimed quickly whirling around to see who was touching her, only to end up with a feeling of a harsh pull of her hair. "OW!!" She cried out.
Rein nearly jumped when she heard her ward cry out like that. Fearing that the child will start throwing a tantrum, Rein quickly tried to quiet her down. "Lucy! Please, calm down!" The woman says and rubbed small soothing circles on her back, while pulling themselves out of the line to get to the entrance. She had one angry toddler to deal with; the woman definitely didn't want to deal with a bunch of angry parents for holding up the line.

Kiarei had just grabbed her tickets when she heard the little girl cry. "Kagome!" She said while getting out of the line. "That's mean! You shouldn't pull on people's hair..." Turning to Rein, she quickly apologized. "I'm so sorry. Kagome's only a baby and didn't know the difference..."
Kagome was frightened by the load cry and curled up in Kiarei's arms. She didn't like the loud sounds, so she got the idea that touching the pink hair was bad. She looked at the girl and was a bit scared by her expression.

A short snicker flew out of the red-headed baby's mouth at the pink-haired girl and the other baby. He may not have known exactly what was going on, but he at least knew that that had been funny.
"My, aren't we sadistic today. You could at least try to hide it just a little, you know." She sighed with disappointment, but it was returned only by an unrepentant grin. Aoxy peeked out from behind the other woman to look at the two in front of her. "If she needs a brush to fix it, I probably have one in my bag." That would probably make up for the little outburst from before. If she was lucky, that is.

Rein smiled nervously at Kiarei. "It's understandable, really. When Lucy was only a baby, she liked pulling my hair as well.." Her gaze trailed off towards Aoxy and the blonde woman smiled appreciatively at the woman's offer. "That would be very lovely, right Lucy?" She asked looking over at the gloomy looking girl.
Lucy stomped her foot impatiently on the ground. Great, first a little human had just attacked her and now she was getting laughed at by someone else. The child had an urge to throw something. But as she slowly ran her fingers through her hair and felt the spot where it had become really messy, she swiftly turn on her heels and cross her arms across her chest.
The toddler didn't seem to be interested at all, but every once in a while, she was steal glances towards Aoxy and her bag before turning away with a "Hmph!"
Watching this, Rein could only chuckle nervously at the small girl's actions. "I'm sorry. Lucy isn't very good when it comes to interacting with people..." The woman explained and then turned to see that said girl was busy fiddling around with her hat.

Kagome looked upset, but couldn't speak. "Ah wo ha..." was her attempt to say she was sorry. She then turned her attention to the other baby. Happy she saw someone who looked the same size as her, she giggled.
Kiarei was a bit disappointed for not watching where Kagome was reaching. "If there's anything I can do to make it up to you, let me know." She rubbed the back of her neck in embarrassment. It was something new for her to take Kagome out of the house, and there was trouble already. "I'm Kiarei Blackfire by the way, it's nice to meet you..." She looked towards Aoxy and grinned sheepishly. "Hi..."

"Well, little Miss Lucy, maybe this will cheer you up a bit." Aoxy reached into her bag with the arm that wasn't occupied and pulled out a small red brush. She leaned down to the toddler's level to hand it directly to her. "It's all right. I think I might know what you're talking about." Yuki immediately came to mind. Just holding him gave her the impression that he was... Less than amiable. "My name is Aoxy. And this little bundle of excitement," she lifted the redheaded baby up slightly to motion toward him, "is Axel." The baby in question was too busy eagerly making grabbing hands toward Kagome. She seemed to have caught his attention with her amusing actions.

Lucy hastily grabbed the red brush from Aoxy and quickly began to fix her hair without saying a simple "thank you" or any kind of recognition towards the woman. It wasn't that the child was vain or anything, though her current actions seem to be contradicting that statement. Lucy didn't like to be touched by most people and the selected few that she allowed to get so close to her had went through several painful events.
Feeling satisfied that her hair was in order, she held the brush up towards Rein, who handed it back towards Aoxy. The child muttered something that sounded like a "Thank you" and then proceeded to cross her arms over her chest to face the other way.
Rein frowned at the way her ward was acting. But that was something she'll just have to talk to Lucy about later. She smiled at the two woman. "It's nice to meet both of you. My name is Rein and as you already know, this is Lucy." She says and motion towards the child waiting impatiently next to her.
Being unable to wait any longer, Lucy grabbed onto Rein's hand and began to pull her guardian towards the entrance. "There! There! Let's go! Let's go!!" The toddler whined, not being able to wait any longer.
Rein chuckled a little and then turned towards the others. "Perhaps we should go inside and get better acquainted there, if you like. Lucy doesn't appear to want to wait any longer..."

Kagome responded to Axel by also reaching out trying to touch him. She was eager to meet this baby. While she continued to reach her little arms, she giggled again.
Kiarei nodded. "Okay, sounds good." She watched Kagome and Axel trying to reach each other and laughed. "Kagome's pretty happy to be out of the house." She started walking inside, smiling at Lucy's excitement. Were all toddlers like that?

"I told you, watch your hands, please." She whispered down to the baby. "Sorry, he just gets a little... Out of control at times. I would hate it if he somehow hurt her." Aoxy could think of a lot of ways, which probably was not a good sign for his future. She smiled again at the return of her brush, even if Lucy didn't seem particularly happy about being able to straighten her hair. It was a little girl, after all. No reason to get worked up about a slight lack of manners. "That would definitely be a good idea. I don't think either of them can wait much longer, either." She motioned her head toward both Kagome and Axel before walking toward the entrace. Where would they go first, though?

Rein smiled again as she walked, though it seemed more like being dragged, over towards the entrance. When prompted to, she presented hers and Lucy's tickets before making their way inside the enormous zoo. It seemed to be rather crowded today, much to Lucy's displeasure.
Walking over towards the signs that points to the different parts of exhibitions, the two waited for the others to arrive. Though Lucy seemed to be more interested at staring at the signs rather than pay attention to the babies and the adults.
"We are going there and there, right?" The toddler asked, pointing towards the signs that lead to the exhibitions that held all of the reptiles and animals that belong to the big cat family.
"We will when we come across it, okay? We have to wait for the others. Perhaps you can make some new friends..." Rein suggested. That would be nice considering the fact that she's only ever interacted with Sesshomaru most of the time. And on rare occasions, such as today, she'd meet new people.

Kagome pouted as she wasn't able to reach Axel. At least they seemed to be going the same way. The girl seemed more interested in these new faces than she did with the attractions.
"I'm sure he couldn't really hurt her... " Kiarei smiled encouragingly. She followed Rein and Lucy, while Kagome pointed and giggled at a few different things. "You know, Kagome hasn't met anyone besides me. She was adopted at the A.C.C., and I've never had much of a chance to take her out before."

Axel was less than pleased at his plan being foiled. He shoved his tongue out at her from behind toothless gums. This was going to get boring really fast if he kept getting blocked at every turn. Aoxy was starting to figure him out -sooner or later, he'd figure out that he had to mix it up.
"You'd be surprised. He's rampaged through my supplies before. I had to go out and buy all new stuff to replace everything that was lost of damaged." Regardless, she smiled to the baby in her arms. At least she'd managed to get new stuff out of it. "Oh, from the ACC? Actually, I adopted Axel from there, too, along with his brother."
