This was the first time Yi was able to get away from her family. Her half sister, two brothers, and mother. Her half sister and mother seemed to watch them like a hawk. Which wasn't exactly what she wanted to call fun. She wanted adventure, and excitement, along with other things that her little brain hadn't thought up let. Her fur took after her mother mostly. It being mostly white and all. Though her markings more after her father, who her mother said was a god. Though, she didn't believe that.
Her brother was her twin, who looked almost exactly like her. They would have fun making her older half sister and mother try to guess which one was which, but it was getting boring. But now she had freedom, well until they noticed she was gone and came looking for her.
She waged her light purple tail with dark purple leopard spots back and forth as she hopped from one place to another. Attacking anything that would move. Mostly the grass. Though, sometimes she'd find a nice bug to chase. The last one seemed to fly away too fast. She laughed as she finally found another bug. A beetle. Though this one moved to slow and lost her interest fast. So the world wasn't as fun as she thought. "This sucks" she sighed as she sat down. Oblivious to her surroundings.
The day was very nice, and there were a few trees here and there, and the grass was tall enough to hide her if she were to lay down completely. Having gazelle pass through not too long ago and grazing on the grass had kept it from growing too long. Her ears were back as she watched the ground for a few moments trying to think of what else to do.

He had always wondered somewhat why he and his four siblings were being raised by his mother alone. When he had been younger, he had let this wonder go on the thought that perhaps their father had just yet to appear. But as time drew on, he realized that perhaps their father simply was not around. What he wanted to know was why.
But something had always held him back from asking. The little cub trusted his own instincts well enough, and when they told him he need not bother asking for the whereabouts of their father, he decided to listen and the subject had more or less wandered to the back of his mind.
So Duzi padded along with his eyes trained on the ground, lost deep in his thoughts. Perhaps, he mused, their father had gotten lost trying to find his way back. Or perhaps he didn't like children. Or perhaps he had no idea that he had children. Or perhaps he lived in the skys! Oh what fun! Perhaps he died. Perhaps he was a nameless, faceless creature. Or perhaps...
There was so much more "perhaps" that Duzi could think of that he stopped keeping track. He was only along for the ride. He need not do anything else. He padded blindly along, seeing only the images of his imagination flashing across his eyes.

Yi didn't notice the other who was coming in the direction straight for her. No, she had her back to the male cub. Still looking for something to do, anything would be great! Though only boredom was finding her at the moment. Thoughts wondered and vanished with each passing moment. It went from her family, then quickly to why the grass was the color that it was. And why the sky was the color it was. Things seemed so weird, and filled with questions that seemed to never be answered.
Though, those questions vanished as quickly as they had came. She thought she heard something close by. Looking about again, she finally looked behind her to see another cub. Though he was brown and covered in spots. She stood with a smile upon her face. Finally! Something fun could happen. The first to meet that wasn't part of her family at least. She started to paw over to where he was walking, but it seemed he was totally not paying attention to anything. "Hello!" She said with a smile and a small giggle as she had started walking side by side in the direction he was going.

Duzi did not notice the other cub until she spoke. As a result, her voice startled him so much that he leapt sideways, eyes frantically seeking the speaker.
Realizing what his violent reaction must have seemed like, he frowned slightly, shaking his head and attempting to regain his composure as best as he could. "Hi," He replied rather sullenly. He did not particularly enjoy being made a fool of, and today was no exception.
Given, the fact that she did have some spots - which he noticed immediately - meant that already his impression of her was already not nearly quite so terrible, but it didn't mean he forgot immediately what she had just done.
Rather than wonder what she was doing, he shot her a sidelong look and continued padding along. If she was really attached to the idea of following him, she would probably start the conversation up on her own, regardless of what she said. He had found that out about other cubs simply by being around his siblings. They talked whether or not he invited them to.

As he jumped, she did too. But more of a reaction to his quick movements. She didn't mean to startle him. "I'm sorry!" she said as soon as she saw that she landed better then she thought she had. Having been still standing and all. her tail flicked a bit, as she curiously looked at the other. He seemed to keep going with only a Hi in reply. Which made her very curious. "Where are you going?" She asked quickly as she caught back up to him.
She didn't really care if he wanted her to follow him. It was his fault for letting her spot him, now it was her turn to have a bit of fun. Even if it meant making the other mad, or annoyed. her yellow eyes blinked a few trying to get some dirt out of her eye.

Duzi shrugged. "Nowhere," He told her. It was true - at least it was now. He had had an idea in mind where he was headed, but since she had practically attacked him, any thought of a destination had slipped his mind. All he was doing was padding toward nowhere, just to seem like he had something to do.
He was used to having to entertain the attentions of others - he did have four siblings, after all - but he had never really grown fond of such attention. Sometimes it was easier for him to simply meld into some shadow and sit there still as a stone and letting his imagination run where it may.
A slight smile made its way onto his muzzle at the thought of doing so. It was so entertaining, and each time his mind took him soaring to greater heights. It took him to places so far off and wonderful that he never wanted to return to earth.
If only.

(( Sorry no net atm))
"That's rather stupid. If you know not where your going you can get lost" she said trying to act all smart. Though, she was sure it was failing badly. To her, being lost seemed horrible. She loved her family, though, she did like getting away from them at times. Having two brothers, and a older sister wasn't easy.
"Don't you have any friends?" She really didn't, since she knew she couldn't count her family as friends, right? Though, she wasn't about to tell him she didn't have friends. He didn't know, and most likely wouldn't know. She figured he wouldn't even care. "Friends are everything, you know"
She didn't notice the smile upon his muzzle, in fact, she wasn't even looking at him anymore. Instead, a bug had caught her attention, which she resisted as much as possible from going after it. She turned her attention away from it to help resist, yet that bug still lingered in the back of her mind. Finally, she looked back at the male cub, as if waiting for some type of reaction.
