Ok so the deal with this game is that one person writes one or more (not too much though) lines from a song and the next person writes the song name belonging to the lyrics posted above and then their own selection of lyrics.

So lets start!

"Gonna loosen up and get me some gas. Gonna get me some action..."

Great idea : D

Man on the prowl, I believe...

"I reign with my left hand, I rule with my right, I'm lord of all darkness, I'm Queen of the night"

"It ain't dangerous - enough for me
Get your head down baby - we're gonna ride"

"Ride The Wild Wind", right?

"My love is pumping through my brain
Driving me insane"

Yup 3nodding . xd Just gotta "Play the game".
"Analysing what I say, and you always get your way, Oh yeah see what you've done to me."

"Back Chat." had to look up the lyrics to that one...

"Sister...I live and lie for you.
Mister...do and I'll die
You are mine, I possess you, I belong to you forever"

"Seven seas of Rhye"! (That's how you spell it right? sweatdrop )
"One day you'll be a sergeant major, oh you'll be so proud. Screaming out your bloody answers, hey, but not to loud"
PostPosted: Wed Apr 09, 2008 5:02 pm

Yep, that's how you spell it. smile

"Don't Try So Hard."

I never really got the meaning of that one. I can't shake the feeling that Freddie was directing it at someone he knew personally, as opposed to showing a general lesson, and at the same time it seems like a little bit of a love song, but not directly. It's just a weird, unique mood surrounding it that puzzles me so. o_O

Anywho, on with the Game:

"My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairy tales of yesterday
Grow old but never die
I can fly, my friends!"

I know, the song was beautiful, but a bit odd.... there's a few songs that are seem impossible to find the real meaning or reason. Right then, that would be "The Show Must Go On".

"I can dim the lights, and sing you songs full of sad things. We can do the tango just for two, I can serenade and gently play on your heart strings, be a valentino just for you."
PostPosted: Wed Apr 09, 2008 6:17 pm

"Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy."

Ever noticed how Freddie referred to himself as "your Valentino" twice--once in this song, and once in "Seaside Rendezvous"? (Just a little observation I had made a while ago that popped back into my head when you mentioned those lyrics.)

Moving right along...

"Out in the city, in the cold world outside
I don't want pity, just a safe place to hide
Mama please, let me back inside,"

xd Took me a bit to figure it out, then I tried singing it, and figured out it's 'Mother Love'. Yay me!

K' now my turn!
"It's the sad-eyed, goodbye,
yesterday moments I remember It's the bleak
street, weak-kneed partings I recall It's the mistier mist "
PostPosted: Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:12 pm

DROWSE!!! whee

Hmmm...how about this?

"Insane
Should be put inside
You're a sewer rat decaying in a cesspool of pride"

Oh!! 'Death on Two Legs'!! (Love that song)

Hmmm.... how about this?

"He's taken an arm, he's taken a leg. All this time honey. Baby you've been had."

FLICK OF THE WRIST, MAN!!!

Such a cool song...Sheer Heart Attack was my first Queen album. Sometimes I prefer Opera or Queen II, but I think I'll always have a soft spot for good ol' Sheer Heart Attack. biggrin

*mentally goes through Queen albums/track listings of Queen albums, then pulls out a selection*

"No, I'm not gonna tell you
What you already know
'Cause time and time again the old man said it all a long time ago,"

EEEEEEK! 'Great King Rat' right?

Hey, from what I've seen, isn't 'Sheer Heart Attack' left off the album? Anyways, my first album was the 'Platinum Greatest Hits', then the collection grew.

So other than that, hmmm let's see. *Goes through the songs that continually play in my head* I have it!!

" Leave on time leave on time
Shake that rattle gonna leave on time
Leave on time leave on time
Fight your battle but you leave on time "
