Ukoo's new job was to babysit the children of her lord and lordess-master and mistress. It was hard-getting used to this life. For one-no more mother and father... no more easy meals or happy times-siblings being mean or kind. Now there was no body from her past life-and she wished it to be that way. To be stuck-with these-very unusual and frightening at times.
But now-her job was to watch cubs... not that hard right? Except she was not all the way used to being a slave-or what ever she was. Her red eyes lacked their usual luster-her dreams had become more and more livid as the days went by.

Edom slowly walked around. Today was to be a boring one, for, none of his siblings were around. He could go to look for them...
Suddenly he spotted her. The lion that Edom was told would be his babysitter. She stuck out like a sore thumb from the rest of the pride. After all, the only red part of her are her eyes. His gentleman side kicking in, Edom decided to go up to her.
"Hey there...." It only took a moment for the cub to realize that he didn't know this babysitter's name.

Ukoo sat staring into space, intent on remembering her familys looks-how her grandmother whispered as she talked. She shut her crimson eyes and tried to remember the path that her cubnapper had taken her but she couldn't remember where they went-she had her face covered the whole time. She felt a tightness in her chest as she almost felt her life from home leave her-this was home now.
King Moses. Her king. She sighed and gazed down at her feet.
Then, a small voice rang in her ears and she turned to see a son of the very lioness who brought her here... A young Edom. She made it her job to learn all their names-to learn everyone's names. The boy shared the crimson eyes of her own-but he fit into the pride easily. She felt a small smile cross her face.
"Well. Good morning young Master Edom...

Edom's red ears twitched when he heard 'Master Edom'. It was the first time the cub had been addressed in such a way. On one had, it was flattering but on the other, something felt wrong about it. Edom didn't like feeling higher than this green lion, even if she was the babysitter. "Hallo," he returned the greeting but added, "You do not have to call me 'Master' though."
He gave her a small smile in return, but started to feel a bit funny. A dizziness swept through his red and white body and a chill went down his spine. Edom was afraid he was about to have, what he called a 'crazy moment'. Moments when he became totally different and quite dangerous. However, the dizziness soon past and Edom lifted up his head. "Now, what is your name, green one?"

Ukoo looked down to the red and white boy. She knew that Shaitani was not going to be a safe mother-the way she had handled herself during the napping. She stood up and went closer to him-seating herself next to him. She was a bit bigger than him-not much but enough so that she had to gaze down to see him properly. Her red eyes showed her emotions though-she was still a but uncertain about this place-but over all... she was lonely.
"Well... you have a higher place here than I do.. so i only thought it'd be proper... I don't want to get myself into trouble... I'm not used to how I am supposed to act around everyone..." She said simply, lifting her head and tossing her olive forehead fluff out of her eyes.
"I'm Ukoo... I'm the new member here... I'm a blood binder... A slave." She said, looking to him slowly. "Your-er... Shaitani brought me here"

Edom sensed that the green female seemed uneasy. But it made sense because she was new to the pride. Not only was she new, but she was also a slave. The cub could imagine that he would be pretty lonely in a pride where pretty much everyone was related. Edom had family in the pride but the female did not. Being a slave only made all that worse.
"I wouldn't worry about that," the cub reassured Ukoo, "If anyone makes trouble of it, just tell them I didn't want to be called 'Master'."
Even if Ukoo was a slave in the pride, Edom didn't want to treat her that way. She had it hard enough already.

Ukoo gazed at Edom with a smile. She felt closer to the younger ones-due to age she supposed-but there was something less hostile about them.Perhaps it was because they too were getting used to living her... so she stayed with the cubs... for her own safety for now. She reached up and placed a paw on top of Edoms head. "Course Edom... I will keep that in mind.. if anyone questions it."
She sat back on her haunches and rubed her front paws over her eyes for a moment. She sighed, lifting her chin up and feeling the breeze. "How come you aren't out with your siblings?" She asked.
