when the sand that garra placed around sakura finnaly fell,sasuke jumped and grabed sakura before she could fall and hurt herself even more even though he was hurt himself,and then he didnt leave her side! (even though that probably has to do with the fact that sasuke was still hurt...)

When something like that happens and you know you're the only hope, even if you're hurt badly you'll go farther than your limits for that short burst. Plus he might have recovered by then.
But it was still awesome.
And did you notice after that he was jealous Naruto saved her (and everyone else).
