My name is Sateru, or at least that is the name that I wish to go by. You may call me Sa-chan if you wish to be friendly, or whatever nickname that you find suitable. I came to like Pokemon at a young age, and I still like the game. Ghost types were always my favorites, but in the beginning there were only a few to choose from. I mean, back in Red and Blue, there were only three to choose from and they were all in the same evolution group. Thankfully, through the generations... more were added along to the list.
Honestly, I was a novice at it, and to this day... I still feel like I am still not prepared for many opponents. I like to think of it as a desire to evolve further in my team, and in my own mind set. You can think of me as a young person with an old mind, and I am dead set in my ways. More so, now than ever before. My opinion is that a good team requires a strong strategic mind-set on what to do, and when to do it.
For those that wish to challenge me, I shall be not leniant, and shall only send your pokemon into blissful surrender. You can try to fight me, and only those that win, shall be given the spoils of victory! In the end, only the strongest with the most determined strength shall survive.
RULES!
*All trainers that wish to battle me, must PM me and use the secret word as their subject. I will not respond to any requests of battle out here. Of course, after PMing me, you may post some kind of aesthetic little post that will pretty much add a semblance of originality.
1.) Lv. 100 single battle for your pokemon because that is fair.
2.) Big Five Clause is going to be inducted here, and only one Legendary can be used in your team. No Ubers will be allowed in our battles.
3.) Hax items are items that rely on chance than reliability or strategy, and these are generally items that have a chance of effecting the opponent.
Examples include...
Quick Claw (Gives a chance of the user attacking first. Ironically, this is one of the few Hax items that affects the user alone, but it is still not allowed regardless.)
Bright Powder (Another item that gives an unfair advantage by reducing accuracy of the opponent.)
Scope Lens (Increases likelihood of a critical hit. Another item that relies on chance and detracts from the premise of actually using strategy in battle.)
Items that are allowed are items that increase your pokemon's abilities while not playing on the theme of chance.
Elemental increasing items (Miracle Seed, or Mystical Water for examples)
Healing Items (Leftovers, or Black Sludge for examples)
Turn increasing items (Damp Rock and Grip Claw are examples.)
Boost Items (Choice Band and Scarf for example)
Berries (If you play Pokemon, then you know what berries are)
Status Increasing Items (Expert Band, and Wide Lens are examples.)
Benefitual Harmers (Flame Orb, Toxic Orb, and Life Orb are examples)
Retaliation Items (Destiny Thread is an example)
and any item that doesn't play on chance versus strategy will be allowed.
4.) Customized Item Clause is now in effect... You may only have two items of the same name. Exceptions to this rule are the choice items which you can only have one of and you may not have two of the same name or generally same effect.
5.) Oh, and if you lose then you will wait 24 hours for a rematch since I don't wish to be haggled for rematches. If you have read the rules, then in your PM put "Gym Battle Time" as your subject and add an emoticon somwhere.
*Please note that failure of following my rules would mean that the battle will immediately end, and I will not give your badge. If it happens again then I will not battle you for 24 hours, and the next time it happens then I will not battle you for 48 hours and it will only double from there.
If you win, you get this Badge!
